For very mediocre service for 3 people they charged 96 euros, with a 15% tip.
It is very strange to see Michelin signs, the restaurant is completely out of touch with reality.

An address to share, for the summer (very beautiful terrace with a view of the Douro, unfortunately closed) as for the winter, the interior being cozy with tables a little far from the other guests to enjoy the moment. Note a beautiful large round table inside with a view. Very pretty card, with elements to share, or not! We fell in love with the veal tartare, and the excellent blood orange dessert. Very kind and attentive service.

I loved how kind the servers were and the view was great… but they served dessert with hazelnut to my boyfriend with a nut allergy, which we explicitly stated prior. We rushed out to get back to get reactine and be close to an epipen. He had a minor episode, but could’ve definitely been avoided.

We purposely booked a terrace table, only to travel 25 minutes (each way) and find out that your terrace was closed. It was hot and stuffy inside and it was our one evening in Porto, with beautiful weather, so we decided to go elsewhere only to have you not acknowledge that we showed up (we told you our name and pointed to our reservation) on your list -- terrible service!

I have to start with saying the food is excellent, we enjoyed everything we ate. The overall experience was tarnished by the service. It started well, we were seated and offered the menu. When we were ready to order another waiter tried to take our order but could offer very little help with menu item questions or how much they could advise to order in relation to dish sizes. After ordering it felt like the service team took the foot of the pedal. We ordered a bottle of wine that was put to one side for the team to serve . Unfortunately, it took several lengthy attempts to get wine topped up and only one glass of water was served the whole meal. Furthermore this continued with having to wait 20 minutes to order dessert then an additional 20 minutes after that to get the bill. Such a shame as this overshadowed lovely food. After paying I politely made my concerns apparent to a member of the team that seemed to fall on deaf ears. Overall have dinner here because they are clearly doing great things. Just some attention to detail is needed.

We were able to make a reservation for the terrace a few days before our visit but learned that it is under construction for weeks. That was a downer because it was one reason to book. Beyond that the food was good as expected, the service was nice but has room for improvement: we had to ask for refilling our glasses of wine nearly every time and it took ages to get the invoice, there was actually a hair in one plate and the service reacted like „s*** happens“ - maybe not Michelin level.

We had a wonderful evening at Semea and were 100% satisfied. It's a beautiful restaurant, unfortunately it was windy and we couldn't sit on the terrace, but it's beautiful inside too. The food is phenomenal and the service is very attentive and friendly, so you'll be happy to pay more!

A beautiful setting with an excellent experience. We really enjoyed our meal here, with an interesting menu all of which was delicious, and an excellent wait staff who provided good suggestions. I particularly enjoyed the potato butter and egg starter, the croaker and acorda main and the French toast desert. Would absolutely recommend.
