Delicious bifana and beer. Would recommend. Cash only and no photography. Will visit again as tender pork dripping with a spicy sauce between a small soft bun is addictive.

Best bifanas we ate in Portugal (and there were a lot of them....) really authentically cooked in an iron pan and the place has an original charm.....not a tourist check-in point.....original, cozy and super tasty ..... We'll be back ?

He was neutral. His wife was very aggressive. Out of respect for the food, we ate it. Tastes like everywhere else. If you want to be treated disrespectfully and have your plate thrown at you carelessly, then I recommend it. As long as you have respect for yourself, don't do it.

Best meal we had in Porto, hands down. Soft bread and juicy, perfectly spicy meat: a must if you want to try a bifana in an authentic, old-school location - no queues, no nonsense. Don’t let yourself get scared by the slightly hostile elderly man at the counter - it’s part of the experience!

The couple who work there only speak Portuguese, no problem, just try what's on display at Montra and they'll become fans.
BIFANA is the best you can eat (2 or 3 are even better) accompanied by a beautiful mug of beer. The Picante is traditional and very good.
Traditional and welcoming place. Very reasonable price for the excellent quality.

One of the best bifanas in Porto and Portugal. Owner can be difficult but you just need to have a good spirit about it.

Very good place, the bifanas are unbeatable, old decoration, the bathroom like their old bars, the man who served was very dry but friendly, I will definitely return

I passed by and bought 3 Bifana takeaways. They were simple and delicious.

Don't bother if you only speak english... we walked in for a late arvo 3pm snack to try the bifana based on other reviews. The owner only spoke Portuguese so we ordered 1 to try for our first time. He was fine until we tried to order a second and he then proceeded to yell at us in portugese and made some gestures at me (but not my husband) so we decided to leave without ordering more. It was rude and confronting, and we don't recommend for English speaking tourists unless you want an unpleasant experience. Unfortunately in a tourist area, so not sure how he will survive without them!

Genuine and authentic. The best bifana in Porto
The owners are very friendly, we came in when they were eating and they smilingly prepared us the best meat sandwiches.
70s decoration that has flavor
