I recently dined at „Taberna Cais das Pedras“ and found the experience disappointing. While the ambiance was very lovely, the food and service was not on the same level .
Service was slow and inattentive, leaving us waiting too long after finishing the food. After the meal we didn’t feel satisfied as you usually do when finishing a meal.
Overall, the restaurant fell short of expectations, both in service and food quality.

All the waiters had bitter faces and didn't even look at you and barely spoke. The food arrived cold and late. 15 minutes waiting for some olives...

It was very noisy. We had to wait for the staff to finish lunch after 7pm. Some foods were not fresh, like the fish, they were dry and old. The octopus looked like porridge, it was strange, you could tell it wasn't freshly cooked. The appetizers such as pataniscas were also not good. The cod cakes were one of the few things that seemed to be made fresh. The sangria tasted like water for the high value it was. The clams looked dry. In general, the food tasted weak for a tavern. In the end we paid 50 euros for two people. An experience not to be repeated. I don't advise it. Tourist trap. We were well looked after, but that alone is not enough.

The service is a disaster, the food is served cold, absolutely nothing special, the worst restaurant in Porto we have ever been to, the waiters look like they are working for punishment, you have to ask for service, I don't recommend it
