It is a tavern for dinner.
If you want to have a beer or a glass of wine with tapas of sausages, cans or salads, it is a good place.

Nothing special, nice place, decent quality food. Unfortunately we found a waitress who spoke neither Spanish nor English, she got the order wrong twice.

It's not worth what it costs...
They served us a hot red wine (€3.5 a glass), the bread served in a paper bag (€2) and the small mixed board of sausages and cheeses (€24!!!) were 3 bad sausages clearly from supermarket and some pieces of regular cheese.
Soooo much to improve in terms of quality and quantity.
The service, at the height of the food. Regular.

Small, cozy tavern in the middle of Porto's tourist hotspot near São Bento train station. I could have spent hours here! The team explained a lot to me about port wine in a very committed and friendly manner and made good recommendations. The grilled chorizo is a little highlight.

Either this is a tourist trap or the restaurant has quality control issues.
But I don't think it deserves its 4.4 stars, the food was not fresh and tasty on the day I ate. The famous octopus tastes worse than the canned food you can buy in the supermarket, and the other food is not that good and not worth the price.
It’s either a tourist trap, or their quality is somewhat random.
I think it’s overrated, and their food is neither fresh not delicious. The octopus in the salad tasted worse than the €1.5 can that we got from the supermarket. Other food we ordered were so so, not worth the prices.

Location is nice
Service is nice
Price/value is not nice
Sausages are a bit burned
And prices are pre-tax so add 15%

This is a tourist trap. We got the mixed bored, cheese was not good with a side of low shelf strawberry jam. The meats were disappointing. Came with a paper bag of pre-sliced bread. We also got the pâté, if they had told me it was wiped butter with an pinch of herbs I would have believed them.
There are a lot of good options, this is not one of them.

Very friendly and warm welcome. We chose the classic port and tonic, the only truly homemade one of our stay, and tapas: local cheeses and charcuterie, exceptional! The location is also nice, nice square and street music. We will gladly come back.

Found this place our first night in Porto, we liked it so much we came back the second night. The food was very good. Also had the bacalhau a bras.

All very good but they don't accept cards (they said it didn't work...) but it's something typical of Porto.
