It seems ugly and in bad taste to me, that you are having dinner and they are clearing up the surrounding tables, leaving you in the middle of nowhere and "forcing" you to eat... it's barely 9:45 p.m.... this attitude surprises me being in Porto ...
Very disappointed. I asked online if I could book a table for 10 people at 6pm. They got back to me and said yes to my booking. Turned up and they were closed. The guys at the door abruptly told us they weren't open yet, and then locked the door. Why agree to my booking? We were then left with a group of 10 including children, hungry and trying to find somewhere else to go.

Three weeks ago, I wanted to have lunch at this restaurant and picked up the menu. The waitress came over and snatched the menu from my hand, saying they were fully booked for the day. However, the restaurant was completely empty. I will not come again...

Ik eten was lekkerder dan ik verwacht had (steak en een gerecht met kabeljauw). Het was druk op het terras op het plein, maar de bediening verliep heel vlot en we moesten niet te lang wachten op onze bestelling. Kortom, we waren heel tevreden.

I'm a French taster and I can say that your francesinha made it into my top 10, the sauce and cheese are sensational and of extremely high quality on the palate.

Although renowned, we were disappointed with the restaurant's cuisine. Impeccable service but the francesinha was very average and my bacalhau Al bras tasteless... too bad. Nice restaurant and very clean

And don't forget to drink the Vinho Verde. It's the best in Porto for me and I've tried quite a few! The same brand is also available in Caralhau ?❤️
