Super nice stuff people, that were explaining the concept and everything Had two menus for two people(as it was my Birthday) So 4 dishes for each to try (3 of which were accompanied by different cold drinks, it was nice, that they had non alcoholic options) Portions as in fancy dining, on the smaller side The food and drinks are as much sustainable as possible Interesting that we got beetroot hibiscus ravioli and the other dish was with buckwheat with walnuts in the cabbage leaf which are exactly the same sensations as classics, where we come from-Eastern Europe. That's something that we would've considered as our perfect breakfast and lunch flavours. The most flavorful were oystermuchrooms with salad and fennel sorbet was definitely the most intense and surprising to us, which I loved Every dish is focusing on one subject, for example -beetroot Simple, but good:) All together was 110€
This is close to my idea of the perfect restaurant. I've been in Portugal and Spain for the last 2-3 weeks and this is the best food I had so far, for sure. It rivalled other favourite meals from e.g. London. In particular the crispy rice dish and mushrooms were amazing. I nearly didn't order mushroom as I thought it would be 'just another mushroom dish ' but it was very unique with a sweet glaze and delicious herby salad. Lots of pickles on the plates too, which I love. They make their own lentil tofu which was interesting (tasty enough for me, who will eat raw tofu out the packet) and served with tasty pickled stems and dashi broth. I would have ordered more plates and the bread couvert etc but I was dining alone. Tasting menu seems to have had price increase compared to online- but still good value for the quality of food: currently set menu 30€ 3 plates or 38€ 4 plates with discounted dessert 5€. Wines looked good too and there is a pairing option and even a non alcoholic aperitif pairing option! Love it
Me and my wife were coming after watching sunset by the beach and ordered romantic table for two, right before 2130 we arrived. We were surprised, eating the four course dinner would change our lives, the food was stimulating our taste-buds in such a way we travelled far with each bite and it was like a lovely dream. Thank you Venn(which means friend in Norwegian) for uplifting our souls and let us fly on your culinary wings to heaven! ❤️❤️
Really delicious, flavorful food. All of it is plant based and small plates (recommendation is to order 3-4 per person). Staff explained it all very well, and they even gave great suggestions for wine pairing. Definitely worth making a reservation!
Everything was fantastic. I will likely be thinking about that poppyseed brioche for 10 years.
Delicious food and amazing staff. We had the 4 course tasting menu and loved it all. Very reasonably priced
Great service, beautiful little place, amazing wines and food.
Our waitress was very friendly & helpful, explaining all about the ethos of the restaurant (local, ethical) & the meals. We had a 3 course tasting menu & 3 other dishes which we shared between 2 of us. The portions were quite small, but ok. They all came out individually, which we liked as the table was small. The flavours were interesting & excellent, with the pumpkin being our favourite. Lovely meal. Updated from previous review on 2025-03-06

A local recommended Venn Canteen to us and we really liked it! We had the tasting menu of 6 dishes amongst the two of us, together with the wine pairing. Our favourites were: The homemade silken tofu was combined with crunchy lentils and somewhat spicy Ztar. It came with our favourite wine, an orange wine. The special of the day, carrots cooked in orange (which tasted nicely strong, not sweet) on tahini and a (mild) chilli oil. And finally the roasted pumpkin on pumpkin mash with crushed pumpkin seeds and pumpkin icecream (!) on top! Also good, though more subtle, were the beetroots on a rice sauce, which had an interesting consistency, and with cumin-spiced greens. And the homemade lasagne filled with leek cream, which was really elevated by the accompanying white wine. The only dish we did not enjoy as much was the chickpeas. The coriander chutney it came with was nice, but the dish was too sweet, already containing sweet potato, I think it had been additionally sweetened, which was not to our taste. The staff was very courteous and even gave us an extra glass of wine on the house because we were celebrating our 10 years anniversary!

This place is amazing, i wanna marry the chef. It's an absolute must visit when you're in Porto. The staff is very friendly and passionate, the food is perfection, loved every single bite I had there.
We had such a great experience, food was amazing and such surprising combinations in terms of flavour and textures/cooking techniques. We loved the atmosphere in the restaurant, very calm and relaxed and the staff really matched this vibe. We loved that there was actually time to have a chat and talk about the food etc. All in all, lovely experience, we are sad that we do not live closer so we could come back every few months to try each seasonal menu.

Interesting and exciting small plates restaurant, friendly and informative service in a cosy environment. Well worth a visit
We enjoyed the experience and the food here. Feel that there is a passionate vegan chef here who likes to experiment with different dishes. The staff are really lovely and are interested in which dishes we liked best. We chose 3 dishes each, we particularly liked the Aubergine dish, the curry (thought there might have been some chocolate on the tofu- but it worked) and the runner bean puree. We weren't sure about the red pepper sorbet as a savoury dish. it was so sweet it was more of a dessert. However we enjoyed trying different dishes
