Everything ok; the waiter girl was lovely
Tiny place with an open bar where Hans the chef prepares all the food. We had only vegetarian dishes, and everything was amazing! Hands down, one of the best and most creative dinners I have ever had, that goes along with a great selection of wines. Service was super friendly and professional.
Vegetarian options: A decent portion of the menu is vegetarian

Very friendly team, nice atmosphere, but the price-performance ratio is not right at all. Food is overpriced. For two bruschettes and some nachos with vegetables over 30 euros - that's too much.

Hands down the best dinner we had in Porto. Amazing food (try the burrata with mango and the salmon tartar) and great service.

We chose Viva based on a recommendation and there we went looking for a special dinner.
The place has capacity for about 14 diners, which, along with the atmosphere, makes it intimate and close to the chef. The waitress's attention was very good, trying to explain to us in Spanish and having a cordial yet close conversation.
They recommended 2 dishes per person, but we believe that 3 for two are enough for dinner. We chose the salmon and mango tartare (good, with touches in the dressing that were surprising), sea bass and scallop ceviche (well, I've had better ones, but the tiger's milk dressing was on point) and the founde de camembert with truffle (excellent, good quality cheese and an addition of jam with something else, which took it to the next level).
As for the price, we consider it medium-high for the city of Porto. All dishes cost around 20 euros and the final price can be around 45 euros per person. The quality of the products and preparation of the dish are well worth it, although they have a difficult time competing with other better located establishments.
In short, a pleasant restaurant where you can enjoy a special dinner and try new flavors in Porto.

Absolutely lovely food. Each dish is a unique combination of flavours and textures, and the chef takes his time preparing them. More than just food, it was an experience.

Cute spot right off the square. Disappointing food, shockingly bad service. After seeing some good reviews, I suppose they may have been having a bad night, but with so much good food in Porto, I won't go back to find out. The chef bought me a glass of wine when I sent back a dish, so good on him.

Food is elegantly plated and tasted great with some dairy free and gluten free options well marked on the menu. It’s a small place with a strange vibe and I didn’t really enjoy eating in there.

This is our second time here. Everything was perfect once again. Menu was similar compared to our last time, but every item that we ordered were so tasty again. If you like spicy food, you should try the nachos.
