There was a notice on the door indicating that the works would take place in April, but we went on May 12, 2024 and it is still closed due to works. It would be essential to update the website to avoid problems like this on a rainy day in Porto.

Traditional restaurant not far from the city centre, we went there on the advice of our hotel and it was an excellent experience: intimate setting and welcoming managers, varied menu with appetizer and meat and fish courses, accompanied by a large wine cellar. We chose grilled octopus with potatoes and vegetables as our main course, followed by two desserts. All very good, fast and courteous service with tasting of different wines not knowing which to choose as a glass. Medium-high prices. Leave full and satisfied

Really one of the best meals ever in this beautiful cozy local neighbourhood restaurant. We had padron peppers and shrimp to start but the star attraction is the medallions of veal which come with tasty veg and fried potato crisps. The veal (medium) is the most tender and tasty I’ve ever tasted (ps the photo is for two people). Finished off with banoffee. Oh and don’t forget the wine - had a bottle of Douro region white for only €17, a real gem.Need to book in advance as it was full.

Excellent experience, great food and even better staff! We came without reservation and with two small children and the lovely staff accommodated us perfectly. That being said, the restaurant is high-end, as is the food and wine selection.
