The food was in fact delicious.
The service was bad & rude. If we weren't invited, we would have left.
The server needs polishing.

Lota Ibérica is a beautiful restaurant with a cozy modern dining room and a lovely terrace overlooking the Povoa de Varzim promenade. Despite some reservation issues, the friendly and quick service makes up for it. The restaurant serves spectacular food in generous portions, including the mushroom risotto, rice with prawns and monkfish, and the highly-recommended Octopus Paella. With a children's menu available, it's a great spot for families, and the affordable prices make it a great value.
