Lots of choices on the menu, good selection of beers, and all in all, excellent! We sat outside & enjoyed the sea view, which was lovely, as the sun went down.

“We visited Saffron in Luz several times in May - each time a culinary highlight! No matter what we have ordered from the menu so far, everything has been very tasty and authentically Indian. The waiters are friendly, fast and competent. The team plays very well together even when the restaurant is full! Very good value for money! Can recommend the restaurant without reservation - we will be back!“

“For me, the pashmina is proof that Indian cooking can be spicy and not ultra-spicy. Whenever we are in the area we try to eat here.
I can highly recommend the Kabuli Goosht and the lamb with eggplant. The chicken tandoori was also outstanding.
For starters, the tandoori salad with chicken is highly recommended.

“Wonderful place. We were out for Portuguese food but got no place so went Indian. And this was a really phantastic experience, the food came quick and was very tasty. We had two lamb and a chicken dish and the sauces were delicious.
I also really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. They spoke a decent Portuguese as well, maybe even a bit unexpected but adds to the positive impression we got. Definitely recommended! It seemed nice for small children as well even though we only had our oldest son with us, who enjoyed the food and free WiFi.
The price was fully appropriate.“

“Wir hatten keine Reservierung, aber mussten trotzdem nicht lange auf einen Tisch warten. Die Auswahl an verschiedenen Speisen ist sehr groß, wie häufig in indischen Restaurants. “Yummy food at a reasonable price, very varied menu with something for everyone. Chicken dishes were excellent - I had chicken tandoori and husband had the mixed grill.

Superb service as well, fast and lovely servers/waiters.

“Incroyable ! Nous étions en vacances à Lagos et nous avions vu les nombreux commentaires positifs pour ce restaurant donc en amateur de Butter Chicken, nous y sommes allés ! “Absolutely delicious! The service was excellent. Amit was very polite and patient with us because we asked a lot of questions. We ordered some shrimps and cauliflower as appetizers, and we loved it! The shrimps were crunchy and had some coconut on top, which was super delicious. For the main dishes we asked for a lamb (chef's mom recipe) and some shrimps with chickpeas (chef's recipe) and we were satisfied with our choice because you won't taste these dishes in any other Indian restaurant. We definitely recommend this restaurant!“

“Just had a very delicious meal. The friendly waiter asked if we had any wishes. I said yes, I would like to eat something with vegetables and meat. He indicated that that was possible, so I ate a curry with lamb and vegetables that was very tasty. My wife had a vegetable korma curry, also very good!
