“Very tasty food and it didn't take long. We all ordered bitoques but we all left satisfied. Unappreciable environment for me but I believe others might like it.”
“O Emigrante is an unpretentious café-restaurant located at the market-square of Evoramonte. Alejento cuisine define its character. The restaurant is family owned and managed. Service is very friendly. The daughter of the owners, who is also serving at the restaurant, speaks English well. The restaurant is open for drinks, lunch & dinner and is popular with locals as well as tourists. You can dine inside or at the terrace at the square. We came on a weekday for dinner and the place was busy with local men enjoying social gossip and a glass of beer after a way of work. We dined at the terrace and went for pork chops and turkey chops, both with home made potato chips and salad, accompanied with a small bottle of Alejento red. Both the dishes had two large chops. When you fancy less meat, go for sharing and ask extra chips. When you want an OK dinner, O Emigrante is the place for you. Don’t expect fine dining.”

“Typical local tavern, very good food, perfectly cooked chicken with a very well seasoned sauce, the best potatoes. It was very economical for two people, we paid 15 euros with coffee and drinks. Place to come back.”
