Really enjoyed the restaurant. Good cocktails, good food, at a good price, right next to the promenade on the seafront. Service was very friendly, even a pool table inside if you fancy it.

The food is good, but the music is very loud. We wouldn't go back to dinner because of the music. Apparently the owner thinks it will attract guests, but it's the opposite... Friends also told us that the music from the 70s is really bad!!!

The menu is very clear. The new owner is leaning towards Indian dishes.

Quite a decent restaurant if you want a really good full English breakfast or a little something for lunch (sandwich or finger food). Unfortunately, the menu is too weak for a good dinner. Service was super nice, unfortunately everything took a little long. Despite the location on the promenade, there is no view of the sea, and the music only consists of hits from the 60s and 70s.
Kid-friendliness: There were free art supplies for the children.

We have been twice this week. The food quality has dropped dramatically. We used to come twice a week, for the Sunday roast and the chicken pie. I am sorry to say we will not come again. The steak pie was shredded steak with a Yorkshire pudding!! I did try explaining my disappointment to the server, but it fell on deaf ears.Hey ho. I can't be anything but honest.

The staff were lovely. However, the food is not up to scratch. Ordered a Thai green curry and so did my other half. It was not Thai green curry, tasted nothing like it and the texture of the 'sauce' was very strange. Another person in our group had the cheeseburger. He said the burger bun was awful and was all soggy at the bottom. He thought it might be one of those microwave burgers? Food did come out very quickly which indicated that it was all microwaved We ordered cans of cola, these were not cold. Again, lovely staff but wished we would have chosen somewhere else to eat.
Such a shame, lovely, friendly waitress and polite staff...just one problem..the food!Overpriced microwave junk, no flavour, no effort, just do not eat here until they revamp the seating and dining furniture and employ a real chef/cook.
