While vacationing in Quarteira we came across this restaurant off a side street. Really happy we did. My husband and I had a pitcher of Sangria which was excellent. My brother & I had swordfish with lemon and capers which was cooked perfectly and very tasty. My husband and sister-in-law had beef kabobs which were tender and juicy. Cappuccinos and espresso martini's finished the meal perfectly. Highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area.
Been visiting this restaurant for several years now. Have just returned home after a 7 day holiday and ate at the Girassol 3 times. As in previous years the quality of the food and the service was excellent. I’ve visited numerous eateries in Quarteira and in my experience the Girassol has been consistently the best. Amazing little restaurant. The chicken wings are fabulous and so is the beef kebab which is a beautiful steak cooked with vegetables on a skewer. Brilliant service from Aldid (sorry if misspelled), smiles all around. We only had a limited time in the area but went back for more. Can highly recommend, thank you.
