Disappointed by Mexican dishes. We ordered chicken enchiladas and were served a filled tortilla with very little filling. The only accompaniment was a small ramekin with guacamole. Average margarita. We won't come back.

What a great little find this place is. Great food, great staff and fantastic pricing. Can’t fault it and 100% worth visiting.

I expected something more for the prices charged, meat (sirloin steak) had no accompaniment, no one informed me, quesadillas with too much cheese, almost only cheese. In the end, prices that are too high for what they serve, a mistake.

Very disappointing experience... This was are last family meal together before travelling back home (8 people + baby). The restaurant was really understaffed and a little chaotic. Wrong orders arriving at the table, missing drinks one in a dirty glass. My Chilli dish was flavourless considering it was a Mexican restaurant very disappointing. Paying for the meal was also painful, 45 minutes wait after repeated requests to all the staff.

Food too expensive for the quality (ribeye meat costs around 25 euros and side dishes cost 4/5 euros each e.g. Pico de Gallo and French Fries) or a total of 35 euros for a "complete" dish We ordered burrito and quesadilla but both tasted the same and the tortillas overpowered the frankly weak filling for a restaurant that considers itself a Mexican specialty. It's a Mexican restaurant with Portuguese spices and not great quality. The nachos only come with cheese and oregano. Fajitas are a stew and taste like Portuguese food...good but not Mexican!
This is the second time we've been to Castizo because the first time we loved the mango and passion fruit margherita.This time, unfortunately, it was extremely sugary...The service is fast and friendly and the food, for the price charged (€€€), is good but not excellent.I would suggest adding a salad to accompany the burrito so the dish doesn't look so "naked".

This evening I was invited by a group of friends to have dinner at Castizo, the food was very well prepared and the service was top notch. I will definitely be back, congratulations on the service, congratulations on being, for me, number 1 in the Algarve when it comes to Mexican food and when it comes to Argentine meat. We hebben heerlijk gegeten! Vleesgerecht met diverse soorten vlees was super mals. De burrito bowl met beef en guacamole top. De tortilla kip was ook goed. Mexican apple pie was een feestje dat aan tafel wordt opgesmucked. Adres zeker bezoeken als je in Vilamoura bent.
