If the Sunshine Bar isn't open we don't want to go to the beach! We love to have a drink when we get off the ferry before relaxing on the amazing beach. With a further stop for lunch or on way back to the ferry. All the staff are amazing and so friendly. Taking time to chat and remembering everyone who returns. We've been using the Sunshine Bar since we first came to Tavira 8 or 10 years ago. It's a beach bar - and doesn't set out to be much more - but over the years, (and they survived the pandemic with, I suspect, some belt-tighteening), its working its way upwards. It's really convenient for a drink after the beach, and before catching the ferry back to Quatro Aguas or Tavira town quay.

Located on the stunning Ilha Tavira the Sunshine Bar is in a perfect position. It has lovely staff that will do anything you want and the food is tasty and served promptly with a smile. It's a 'must' if you visit the island.

Second visit during our holiday as the service, food and cleanliness is great. Lots of food options for lunchtime, cold drinks and ice creams. All served with a very friendly smile and engaged service. We never felt rushed just welcomed

Have been here twice in the past week. Ordered the tuna salad and the Piri piri chicken wraps and both were fresh and tasty. Great beer too and always service with a smile. Highly recommend. Prices very reasonable too and very clean.

Popped in for a light lunch and a beer - the welcome and service was lovely - very much more your lighter meals like wraps burgers omelettes and really reasonably priced too. Food arrived in great time and we were able to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Lots of returning clients which is always a great indicator and lovely friendly hosts. Thank you!
Lovely, friendly lunch spot on Tavira Island. A marvelous Pinacolda cocktail and light lunches. Great service, reasonably priced. We stopped here while kayaking from Tavira.

Good lunch on the beach. Offers a fair selection of their version of fast food. Good quality and very clean. Good facilities clean on a regular basis. Staff very helpful.

Sitting at this bar at the beach is a little bit of heaven, it's not the classiest bar but it's great not your usual blaring pop music but Brazilian/Portuguese music, great drinks (can recommend the Sangria) really cool relaxed atmosphere. The prices are good too, went in one of the other places on the front and was totally ripped off not here and the staff are lovely.

This the best beach cafe on the ilha de Tavira friendly staff almost family plenty of food options including gluten free, always freshly cooked. Fabulous! Alcohol choice as well as soft drink choice amazing. Oh ice cream not bad. Good value for money. Come back year after year. Enjoy
