Extremely unpleasant service. Tasty food and good portions.
It all starts the day before booking: We contact the restaurant to make the reservation and find out if there would be sardines. We were informed that there was and we made the reservation accordingly, a family sardine.
On the day of booking, we arrived at the restaurant at the agreed time (1:30 pm) and at 2:40 pm we, a group of 18 people, organized our order on a piece of paper that would serve as a tablecloth. There was NO attention from the staff, nor concern in coming to know what we wanted to eat and/or drink.
After the group organized the order, they informed us that there were no sardines… Spectacular, that was the reason for the reservation! As if that wasn't enough, one of the employees even told us “but they didn't ask to keep it!” When the reservation was made, we indicated that it was for a sardine. Furthermore, in the absence of sardines, there were several attempts to order other dishes and whenever we go to “place the order” they inform us that there are none. Once again, there was no care in coming to the table to order and informing what could or could not be available.
The saga continues… We want drinks, we get up and go get them at the counter. We want a cover charge, we get up and go order at the counter. We want the card, they send the card to the table and turn away.
After all this, we had the pleasure of being served by an employee (when the restaurant was almost empty). Where we finally managed to place the order.
After this whole film, the food starts to arrive… a pleasant surprise. Dishes with good portions, well prepared and quite tasty. The desserts were also good, they were good.
As for the restaurant's atmosphere, it could be better if there weren't tables loaded with dirty dishes.

Fantastic restaurant I found by chance and one of the best restaurants without excessive tourism and with a super hospital family. Fair prices and super delicious for all the food. I really enjoyed it and will do it again. Pay attention to parking.

It's good that they serve half doses and have food grilled over charcoal. It is an accessible place with parking at the door. Both the picanha and asasaduras à alentejana had a lot of fat.
