We stopped in this place by chance: spotlessly clean, friendly and smiling staff, excellent food and excellent Alentejo wine!!!!I highly recommend it!!
It's worth listening to and following Vasco's advice on a journey of flavors!

Well cooked shrimp with really good toasted bread and surprisingly good tropical salad. The chocolate dessert was one of the best we had on our trip. Really cool decorations inside.

The food was fresh and delicious. We actually ate lunch and dinner it was so delicious. The owner also speaks English so that was helpful in ordering. They were very helpful in deciding what to it. The food was amazing!
This restaurant definitely belongs to a restricted group, where only a few can fit! Indeed, this space is something fantastic and the menu leaves our mouths watering, at least for those who know Alentejo cuisine! However, it is when we are served and later confronted with the delicacies on the plate in front of us that we really become aware of the superior quality of this Restaurant!!! Without a shadow of a doubt, not to be missed!!!Dogfish SoupTenderloinsGazpacho

The person who served us (Rafael) was spectacular, friendly, fast and communicative. The food was quite delicious, I recommend the fried cod with potatoes and onion, and the chocolate mousse! The terrace is in the middle of the main square, in a calm and pleasant environment.

A very pleasant surprise! We made a reservation during the day, however we were forced to arrive a little late, a situation that was extremely well managed by those who served us.The space has a very well decorated decoration and the service, by one of the managers, with absolute knowledge of the menu and the products to be served.Very fresh and tasty salads, exactly what we wanted. We tried the desserts and they didn't fall short. They have a space adjacent to the restaurant where they sell various products of regional origin, a spectacular initiative! It was a great pleasure before we left to be able to deprive ourselves and get to know a little about the reality in which they live. We hope to return!

**response to the owner's comment: I don't know the case you are referring to, but this proves that there must be several dissatisfactions and serious complaints on the same day. Another sign to review the restaurant's attitude towards its customers** Terrible experience. Half of what we ordered was not there, of what was served, after 40 minutes of waiting, very low quality and far from the traditional flavors of Alentejo food. It's a shame and shame if they change the business model, because then, just as we feel, others will also feel robbed by the amount charged for such a bad meal. Save the service, which was friendly and is not to blame for the disastrous management of this restaurant.

*** Reply to Ms. restaurant owner: Okay, your answer just shows that you want to continue being mediocre. I eat plates of FULL nachos covered in guacamole and toppings in Lisbon for €6 and equally in London for £6. It has nothing to do with the plating my dear, you charge exorbitant amounts for mediocre dishes. Are you charging €11 for a plate of quinoa, unseasoned chickpeas, a little pineapple and watermelon? I invite you to go eat poké where the ingredients used are the following: avocado, cucumber, mango, furikake, seaweed salad etc… and add a sauce to that dish because again: this is not poké anywhere ma'am, vegetarian or not vegetarian. But then, continue not listening to your customers and be mediocre for the rest of your life. ***1. We paid 6.5€ for this plate of nachos with guacamole and tomato. If the first thought that comes to mind is “someone has already eaten from the plate”, then we are in tune.2. The food had no flavor at all especially the “Poke salad” which had nothing to do with Poke.3. The service was terrible, the guy who served us was often forgetting something. We went out for dinner on a Monday when not many restaurants were open so if you have more to choose from, definitely choose another option.
