Leuk en simpel restaurantje in het centrum van Monseraz, een prachtig stadje!! Hele lieve bediening, ook voor de kinderen, lekker gegeten.

It was a total disappointment. The saltiest bacalhau à bras in all of Portugal. Impossible to eat. We told the waiter but he said that cod is like that ??♀️ We also tried to have dinner on the terrace and he wouldn't let us, having a free table. Not recommended.

Good atmosphere, good food and great friendliness, I loved it?
We ordered Alentejo-style pork. It took a while, but it was done in time. The food is very tasty and very well prepared. Prices are high, especially drinks (a coffee 1.30). The next day we went to try to have dinner and it was closed. This was a Tuesday and the closing day is on Wednesday.

We were a group of 13 people, we called at the last minute and they were quick to welcome us. Always very friendly, smile on their lips and never more polite.
The food is very good! The cheeks, the lamb chops and the cod à Brás are very, very good! The divine desserts…the pudding and the carob tart that you can eat and cry for more
Without a doubt a place to return to and promote

Superb discovery as much for the tasty flavors of the local dishes (bread soup and squash cake) as for the late welcome.
I recommend !

A small but charming restaurant. I can't say that the waiter and I presume that the owner was the height of joy, but apparently in Portugal the majority are like that although when asking about the food and serving us he was certainly friendly. And although there were not two dishes on the menu, cosNo wonder it was full, what we ordered was downright delicious. The veal or steer is soft and has great flavor. The cod is also spectacular although for me it would be a cod scramble. And the wine, a Monsaraz Reserva, is also very delicious even if I am not a connoisseur of Portuguese wines.

Traditional Alentejo cuisine - the migas were spectacular, I recommend them to everyone. Definitely coming back.

Small restaurant, very good regional flavors. Friendly service. Admission to the meal ends at 21:00. We ate Sopa de Cação (divinal) and Bochechas (very tasty and tender meat). There could be more regional desserts (we had carob tart, it wasn't too sweet which is good), but they said that there are days when they have sericaia with plum.

The lizards were very good and the corner of the Church is very pleasant to be with a view over the houses with the mountains in the background!
