After we had made a reservation for the evening via text message at noon and our reservation was confirmed, we were at the restaurant at 9:30 in the evening. We were given a very unfriendly welcome with the information that there was a power outage and we couldn't eat there. Restaurant inside the Castle of Monsaraz with a fantastic atmosphere, ambient music overlooking Alqueva. The food is excellent and the entrecote is fabulous. The siricaia is delicious. Good price/quality ratio. I loved the experience.
