It was a gazpacho soup that was very tasty, asparagus crumbs with egg and sausage (the sausage came separately, which is great for those who don't eat meat like me), and some equally wonderful strips of pota, all accompanied by white wine. . Dessert was sericaia (different from the traditional one and I don't know which one I'm a bigger fan of). We stayed on the outdoor terrace, one of those typical Alentejo nights (windless, hot and with a starry sky). Equally good service and service.

The view is spectacular and the food good. Monsaraz is a little village on top of a rock overviewing a beautiful lake. I have been here 14 year ago and this place is so worth a visit. I ordered the pork. While in Alentejo stick with it. My hubby ordered fish and was not as luck as me.

The food was amazing, good options and with reasonable prices! In terms of service it was perfect. The waitress that took care of our table was really nice and gave us a very good service. As for the atmosphere, couldn't ask more! Really really amazing view especially at sunset, with all the castle surroundings visible. Just an amazing view. You also can just eat outside or inside with air conditioning and the view is the same. I will recommend this one for every friend of mine. Keep it up!
