About Solar da Valada

Solar da Valada is a pleasant restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. The service is excellent, with attentive staff and a wide range of wine options, including an extensive list of high-quality wines. The food is delicious, with standout dishes including Angus flank steak, cod with ham and cornbread, black pudding, and bean pie. A recent tasting menu featured a wonderful journey of flavors, starting with olives, pâté, cheese, and black pudding, followed by main courses like octopus rice, stewed veal, and cod. The presentation and portion sizes are commendable, with diners appreciating the generous servings. Desserts such as Macieira cream and Chocolate Brownie were also highlighted. Despite being slightly off the beaten path, the restaurant offers a warm welcome and excellent cuisine. Some guests noted that the atmosphere could be affected by background noise but overall found it inviting and enjoyable, making it a place worth visiting again.

Perfect food, delicious meat, salad and
very good fries.

Fantastic!
Whoever took me knew me.
It was worth every euro spent.
That stew was perfect!
The octopus, almost perfect!
The "Abbot of Priscos" is great.
The room is very good and despite being almost empty, I believe it will be quiet on a busier day.
A big thank you to Mr. Nuno. Excellent professional.
The price is fair!
I'll definitely go back.
I recommend
