Wanted to enjoy our night out. Got the menu and it was totally in Portuguese which is fair enough. Once we started talking to the waiter he tried to point us in the way of Fillet Mingon. Once we said were not interested he down played us all the way.
Asked for a nice bottle of Douro Wine a Reserva - they didn’t have it. Instead offered bottle for €22.50 the Douro was €13.50. Eventually found the bottle of Douro and it was excellent.
This place does a roaring trade and you can see why. We think we ordered incorrectly but the waiter left us stone clod. At the end of the meal they tried to charge us for the meat and olives which we sent back. So overall not impressed.
The food was very nice. Mind you soggy crisps with Chicken don’t go!!
