“The oven” was one of the most pleasant experiences we had in Gerês. After a day full of adventure and nature, we were hungry. Some options close to our accommodation, we chose Forno. We were very well received by everyone, the atmosphere is great. We sat at a table with a beautiful view of the Rio Caldo. We ordered roast veal, accompanied by rice, green beans and potatoes. Everything was impeccable! The portion was large and more than enough for 2 people. The final value...
A simple and friendly place (more pleasant outside than inside) with excellent quality cuisine!
Very friendly service. I've had the opportunity to try several dishes and I've never been disappointed. Reference to the "boar chanfana" which is surprising but my all-time favorite is the veal chop, a true marvel!!!
