“Molto obrigado.. Nine years ago we set foot in this obscure little piri piri place for the first time. Me and my partner were amazed by the quality and taste of their food. Today we went back and its still awesome. Service is impeccable and the dynamics of this restaurant is one of a kind. People in suits and workman have their lunch here, all quietly enjoying the food. Chapeau!“

“Going to a barbecue place is to eat roast meat, and the offer is varied and of high quality.
After a certain time, the service becomes slower as the staff begins to have difficulty keeping up with the movement of the house. For quick service, it's best to go to the kitchen opening and stay for the necessary time for the meal (it takes a while to pay after a certain time ?).
There is not much parking in the area.“

“Wow, wow, wow!!! This place is AMAZING, Ricardo one of the partners here is charming, passionate, and just an overall welcoming soul and wants you to enjoy the food from his chef and kitchen. All of his recommendations were spot on, and he welcomed us "home" before our meal which we knew this meant we were in for a dining experience like no other. Just a walk around the corner from Graham's Porto Lodge, and a must try if you are in Gaia.“

“Came here on the search for some seafood and we were not disappointed. The octopus was so so tender and the side veggies and potatoes were really buttery and tasty. The vegetarian pasta was very yummy too. The plant based sausage was alright but honestly it was a win that they even had a vegetarian protein! We also got the shrimp rice and it was very good, a sort of gumbo/stew with huge shrimps and a tomato-based sauce. Really happy w our server and the bustling location as well. All in all, one of the best meals we’ve had while in Portugal hands down“

“In addition to the great food, the staff is very attentive. I recommend the prego na plate, it's excellent and ends up being affordable. The francesinha is also great. The bleeding is what ruined everything, it's stupidly expensive, it's not justified. The dessert, Red velvet, also failed to impress. It was well served, good presentation, the flavor wasn't bad, but it was too dry.
I'm also not particularly a fan of the intense smell of meat preparation on the customer's table.“

“Traditional Portuguese food with a modern touch. It's normal for it to be full of people despite how big it is: the service is fantastic, the food takes almost no time and everything looks delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. Don't forget to try the desserts, they are well worth it.
Parking: In front of the restaurant there is a path indicated with the parking sign for the restaurant itself, although there is also parking on both sides of the street on which it is located and it is not a particularly busy area, so it is easy to park.“

“We came across the restaurant by chance during our visit to Porto. It is located in an alley, there is little space but we waited a little but the grilled sardines were worth it. The owner will give you a warm welcome and the prices are very affordable.“

“Good 'locals' restaurant. Decent food and really attractive prices. Bottle of Vino Verde under four Euros.... Menu is only in Portugese and the waiter doesn't speak English, but that just adds to the fun... Busy lunchtimes , quiet in the evenings.“

“Very good quality food, very correct quantities. The place is spacious, well-kept, with pleasant decoration. The only shame is that the staff is too attentive to you finishing to bring you the bill, and this ruins the overall experience a bit, since the day we went, the place was not even remotely full, there were a large number of Empty tables and no one waiting to be served and seated, so I didn't see the logic. Simply reviewing that detail would achieve perfection, however it is a highly recommended place where you can enjoy good food.
Parking: They have a private parking lot a few meters from the restaurant that is free for customers, with video surveillance cameras and access control with a barrier, so the parked vehicles will be safe.
Kid-friendliness: Children's menus and no problem going with children.
Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible premises without stairs, at the same level as the street and with wide corridors. Bathrooms adapted to PMR.“
“We stumbled across this family owned restaurant and enjoyed a “meal of a lifetime.” Mussels, grilled squid and salmon were our main dishes and they were complemented by fresh salads and fish soup. The lemon mousse that finished our meal was pure perfection. When you are in Nazaré, make time to eat a meal at Restaurante Gil Vincente. You won’t be disappointed.“

“Simply great, you won't regret it. The price-quality ratio is adequate. The dishes we ordered were all delicious. Our waitress and the girl at the bar were very friendly. Place cleaned, very detailed service. From the portion of bread to the presentation of each dish. Attached photos. It should be noted that there are photos that I couldn't stand and I ate the tacos, they serve two. Two pieces of meat are missing from the plate.“

“The average prices didn't match what we saw in the comments here on Google, I don't know if it was because it was a Mother's Day menu or if the prices are no longer the same, but the food is totally worth it. The food is delicious! The starter was a stuffed crab that was so good I didn't even have time to take photos hahaha, wonderful squid and prawn skewer. Dessert elevated the experience until the end. The customer service is very friendly, I will definitely be back.“

“We ate here 4 times during our visit and every time was excellent. The staff is very welcoming and the food is delicious. I recommend the veal steak (posta de vitela grelhada). All the dishes we tried were excellent and the prices were very good. The people who served were very friendly and they helped us with all our questions. Highly recommend. It is not a tourist restaurant, but it is more of a local one.“

“I went to Churrasqueira to eat the traditional frango portuguese but the experience was awesome, the potato murro what a delicious, the frango is made in the oven but looks like is made it with smoked, not fried so the taste is unique. Our host was a very good host or maybe I’m short in words to describe him I’ll be back before I left Portugal My order Frango Potato’s murro Fried potatoes Regular rice( but has a unique taste too between olive oil and garlic) Ibérico salad.“

“We order an Francesinha normal and we tell them that we want to share it between us both.
There was more problematic, because first they give us 1 plate, then when we try to share it, they take it back then second time they bring it bag slice to twice..
It is not such a problem, but you as a guest just feels a little bit strange and unwelcome in those situations..
But the second time they not only slice it but add more cheese for right Francesinha look and taste. For free, which is amazing nice from their side.
So it much more then worth it after you see how you are so welcome here!
Also they take the potatoes and warm it again and add more potatoes for free.
The wither was with amazing English and such a nice and smiley guy. Thank you so much! You are really deserve a premia! Nice restaurant face by you.
The Francesinha was good enough for the money. A little bit spicy. Good for me, but my wife dont like spicy.. it was more then ok for the money.
So I strongly advise to choose this place for breakfast and lunch!
Super, thanks.“

“We went in August 2023. Unmissable experience in Porto. Upon arriving, we were warmly welcomed with a cover of fresh and delicious bread (including focaccia) and impeccable service. We opted for the entrecot paella, which was divine and went very well with a red Altano 2020, and a spicy one recommended by the attendant Ana Lúcia, who was friendly and had impeccable service throughout the restaurant experience and gave us this excellent tip. We will definitely be back.“

“My visit to this place, following a group dinner to celebrate a birthday, proved to be gastronomically rewarding. However, it is impossible to ignore the fact that the excessive noise that was made in the room turned the experience into a huge headache.
A suitable place for group dinners, it offers excellent barbecue, as a portion of mixed barbecue would be perfectly enough for three people.
If you visit this place, be prepared, the noise will certainly not have been just on the day of the visit.
But I can't completely blame the restaurant for the fact that its customers are so... expressive.
Reservations are recommended, as ours worked without any problems.
Regarding the price. Once again, if it were simply just for the food served, although it was expensive, it would be justified by the quality, but once again the atmosphere makes me reluctant to say that it is fair...“

“I just happened to be passing by while walking to a grocery market, and the smell of the BBQ captured me. The place was bustling with people. I came back to get some BBQ chicken without sauce, just original. I asked for half a chicken but only the dark meat (thighs and legs) since I don’t like breast meat. I used Google Translator to ask. All the staff appeared attentive and friendly, though in a no-nonsense way. They weren’t smiling or anything when you walked in, but they were attentive to your needs. For the value, too, it was affordable and delicious.“

“Brazil's representative global chain, famous for its all-you-can-eat Rodizio. This place was great too. It is located on the second floor of the very nice Norteshopping shopping center (the first floor by continental European countries standards), and the salad included in the price was excellent and the meat was delicious. Pain de Queche (cheese bread), Brazil's national bread, which I have not seen at Fogo de Chao in Lisbon, is also provided. The basic option costs about 25 euros, and I had it with 1 liter of sangria (about 12 euros) and was satisfied because it was good value for money.“

“**Dear Sir,**
I hereby register a formal complaint regarding the order made at the Barcarola restaurant through the Uber Eats platform.
It turns out that the delivery person on that platform did not collect the order at the establishment, resulting in an unacceptable delay. As I was informed, the order had been ready for more than 40 minutes, and, although the restaurant had access to the customer support phone number, it did not take the initiative to get in touch to inform about the situation, showing serious disrespect towards the consumer.
This omission by the restaurant caused me significant inconvenience and frustration, as I was unable to receive my meal within the stipulated time.
Yours sincerely“

“This restaurant is a pearl of Portuguese gastronomy! The atmosphere is welcoming and the service is exceptionally attentive. The dishes are a true journey through the flavors of Portugal, with special emphasis on the francesinha, a rich and robust delicacy, perfectly balanced. The broken eggs were also a pleasant surprise, with the perfect combination of simple and comforting flavors. I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to explore the authentic Portuguese palate. It's definitely a place to come back to often!“

“This is the one place in the Porto tourist area where I come for down to earth nourishment. A have been here a few time by myself and with expats. The staff speaks very little English but they make for it in service, kindness, and service. I particularly LOVE their moellas (guisards) on a bed of rice. They have other dishes that are just as delicious. Just can't remember what they are now... (no, I am not Rittos' happy... ?)
Watch out for the wine. It seems to have higher alcohol content because I get happy when I order it. Even with a half a "garrafa" (pitcher), my lunch mate and I ended a tad tipsy.
Parking: I think a couple owns it and they are your servers, cooks, and cashiers.“

“This restaurant was a lovely experience. The service was top-notch, our server showed and explained each of the fresh catches of the day, we ordered the brill. It was so delicious we ate every last bite. The fish was paired with roasted potatoes and veggies and we washed it down with a delicious white wine that was recommended to pair with the fish. Would absolutely suggest stopping by for a meal!“

“It doesn’t happen often that I’m so satisfied about a restaurant as it happened with Rio Stek House. The food is incredibly delicious- amazing quality meat, marvellous taste and freshness. Even rice with bones were smooth, great structure and tasteful (which is very rare). Very friendly staff and service. We ordered special steak of the house and picanha on stick. We found this place accidentally and it has been the best food we tasted in Portugal. Wide choice of wines for the wine lovers.“
