Did a Google search for "off the beaten path" restaurants and boy was I glad! This little (and I mean little) gem was one of my favorites on my 11 day tour around Portugal.DO: Get there early for a seat, there are about 20 seats on the inside.DON"T expect a pretty inside. Intimate restaurant that you would unceremoniously overlook. An oasis of love and hospitality presents itself. Bacalhau tender and juicy from the fire. Oven-cooked potatoes. The young host (mothers in the kitchen) did his utmost to serve you. Patience with a good bottle of wine is priceless. Thank you!

This place is a hidden gem absolute value for money with high quality and very fresh. Love the owner and their service. It’s better to go there like 7pm because post 8pm it’s very difficult to find a place and you have to wait for a long time. It’s a small place indoor and they have outdoor seating in springs and summers.
