“I dropped by Negra Café Boavista for a coffee, and it left a fantastic impression on me. The chic interior decor and the music-inspired ambiance create a unique and inviting atmosphere. It's an incredibly relaxed place, and the staff are not only friendly but also very helpful. And, of course, the drinks were top-notch. I highly recommend paying a visit to experience this wonderful spot for yourself.“

“We used viamichelin website for a restaurant in Porto and found Apego. It was a good decision to go here, we enjoyed it very much. We took the 5 course tasting menu with pairing wines. Each course we found very tasteful, with the pairing wine further elevating the flavors. To us the key world was balance. Each course fitted nicely with the predecessing course. The crew was very nice, taking time to explain every dish and wine in both Portugese and (perfect) English and making us feel at home. A place we certainly recommend as the people here understand what tasting and pairing means!“

“We came here on a recommendation and this place is brilliant! This modern, natural wine bar serves a wide variety of ports and wines and deli food: fresh sandwiches, sharing boards, fish dishes, desserts and coffees. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced- we shared the small meat and cheese board with sourdough bread and it was excellent quality. The server was more than happy to make a tomato sandwich for our little boy which he devoured- juicy, fresh tomatoes and fresh from the oven sourdough. The drinks we ordered- port, white wine and an organic soda for the little one were all delicious. Service was fantastic and we had a great chat about Porto with the lady running the place. Highly recommended and will definitely be back- thanks for a great lunch experience! ?
Kid-friendliness: They were so accommodating with our 6 year old, making him something that wasn't on the menu and happily chatting with him about his favourite movies ?“

“Good food, with a very good and welcoming atmosphere, I was well received and the staff were very attentive, especially the waitress Teresa who was assigned to serve me, the only thing is that the francesinha sauce could have been spicier, otherwise everything was great“

“So grateful to have discovered this little gem. This kind of authentic restaurant has become rarer in Porto over the last years.
What makes it so special, besides the fantastic food, is the fact that Miguel runs this restaurant as a one-man show. He stands behind the kitchen and serves all the tables. Dinner started with a delicious fish soup, and then I chose the “polvo cozido” (boiled octopus), which was super fresh and delicious.
For dessert I chose the “pudim” which was also delicious!
I will definitely be back. Don’t be set back by the 60-70’s style interior design. The food is authentic, everything homemade and fresh for very fair prices.
Unfortunately my phone’s battery was empty, so couldn’t take pics.“

“Crazy!!! We are Spanish. We have been in Porto for several days eating in various places, we have been wasting time since today is our last day. We ate wonderfully, the service was great, and the prices were very low for what we have paid so far. I always recommend it. Important, the place does not have a sign, look carefully.“

“Good food, beautiful decoration, large and pleasant atmosphere. Also pleasant for groups in small separate rooms of 10 to 12 people. They just have to improve the issue of partial bill payments, or provide a card for each person when they are in larger groups.“
