“We went to this restaurant because it closes late, thinking it was an option and it ended up being the best success in Porto Moniz. Valentina is super nice and very nice and the octopus dish she recommended to us was excellent. 2 starters, two starters, drink and tea about 50 euros. Highly recommended, we had a super good dinner.“

“The grilled tuna steak is huge and not at all dry. On point! Served with boiled potatoes and vegetables.
There could have been more dessert options (it only had fruit salad and ice cream), otherwise, a reference place for good fish in Porto Moniz.“

“We really enjoyed the paella, rich with lots of seafood. The two of us had a lot of trouble finishing the portion. The vegetable soup was also very good, with at least four different vegetables in it.The negative movements are inexplicable to me too, it was full lunchtime and I didn't see anyone letting anything go back.Prices are higher average.“
“Nous y sommes allés 2 fois. Une fois pour une pause goûter et une fois pour le repas du midi. Les 2 fois nous avons eu un service rapide et les serveurs étaient agréables. Les quantités sont correctes, le prix un peu élevé mais c'est un front de mer donc rien de choquant. Seul petit bémol : pizza Margherita un peu trop riche en fromage. Sinon tout nickel ?“

“The ambience right by the sea was very nice, the employees were very friendly and the food tasted delicious. However, the toilet on the first floor was an absolute disaster: the door couldn't be locked, there was no toilet seat or lid and everything was completely peed.“

“Simply the best food we ate in Madeira
(espada do chef and espada madeirense).
Apart from the amazing cuisine, the portions were very generous, and the prices very good, making for an optimal value-for-money relationship.
Wonderful service on a non-smoking balcony with distant sea view.
If we had discovered it earlier in our vacation, I think we would have eaten there every day.
Parking: Parking is free, 4-5 cars fit in the parking lot, the rest parked on the side of the road.“

“During our vacation we spent two evenings at Calheta Green. The restaurant is beautifully located - with a view of the sea and quiet, green surroundings. The food was very fresh and tasty. The grill is visible to all guests. The restaurant also offers a bar.
We were particularly impressed by the service of our waiter Igor. We could always trust his recommendations regarding food and drinks. His very friendly and, above all, attentive way of working stands out clearly from other locations on Madeira. After our first visit, his service persuaded us to spend our last evening in Madeira in this restaurant.
Vegetarian options: Fresh, tasty and unusual.
Recommended to other vegetarians.
Parking: Approximately 15 parking spaces available
Wheelchair accessibility: You can park directly in front of the entrance. Access to the restaurant (including the terrace) is level.“

“Truly a delight!
It's a shame that the lady welcomed us in an unpleasant way... but it was another person who took care of us afterwards.
I recommend the “grill” that you see the kind of shrimp there.. Rahhhh it was really good!
BE CAREFUL if like us you are Belgian, I do not recommend fries
If you're not Belgian then the taste of the fries shouldn't bother you too much ?
Bon appetit and happy holidays :)“

“Amazing value for money.
We got bread and rolls for our hikes from there every morning. We also took the chicken pizza and some other savoury treats with us and everything was tasty.
We treated ourselves to a breakfast of cake one morning as there are soooo many to choose from. The slices are enormous.
Would recommend to have breakfast there every day to try everything. I tried a lot in a week but still feel I am missing out on some things :)“

“What a pleasant surprise. They had a Beyond Vegan burger served without a bun on perfectly cooked veggies with a balsamic reduction and a cauliflower appetizer with tasty molhos and other veggies. The view alone was worth the drive and made all the better with great food.
Dietary restrictions: Limited vegan options, but very good.“
