It has become tradition to go to O OUSSO
CHICKEN whenever we want to devour this delicate bird. Can you see the size of the legs? Here the meat comes in minimal pieces, juicy and crispy. Served with potatoes, salad and a wine cellar to match!

“Small, nice restaurant, without a special atmosphere. But we came for the food. We ordered Frango da Guia. We have already tested almost all the restaurants in the area that offer Frango da Guia. And we can say that THE Frango here was by far the tastiest! And at a very reasonable price!The welcome was warm and very friendly. Despite the restaurant being packed, the employees always had a smile on their faces. A kindness that you don't often experience when there is stress.The restaurant is unconditionally more than recommended.

“This is the best per peri chicken on earth. I’ve been coming here for 7 years and it’s amazing. There are only a few dishes on the menu but basically it’s grilled chicken, fries and salad. The incredible. You won’t want to eat this dish again in your own country after tasting this. It gets busy at lunchtime but you can’t book so do consider you may need to queue but they’re fast so you generally won’t wait longer than half an hour for a table depending on your group size. Use your fingers to eat. It’s the best way.

Will go back a million %. It’s the best. Possibly one of my favourite ever restaurants due fo the value.

“We were advised to come here for authentic Portuguese food! This is about 20 minutes drive from Albuferia but really really worth it.

There is no menu for this restaurant. They ask what level of spice you’d like your chicken and if you’d like chips and salad and then they begin to make the order.

Food is quick to the table, fresh and so delicious! The staff are friendly and this place was packed!

We had the chicken chips and salad with bread and olives and some ice cream for dessert and the total came to €30.30. I ate so quickly I forgot to take pictures but if you are willing to head out to this place you will not be disappointed.

Kitchen is absolutely spotless.

Parking: In front of the restaurant on the other side of the road there is a large parking lot which is free.“

“I highly recommend this restaurant, pleasant terrace sheltered from the sun and wind for the evening.
We have eaten there several times! The chicken is succulent and crispy. The burger was cooked well, the steaks and fries were tasty, well done to the cooks and cooks. All the staff are pleasant and smiling.“

“Il y a un peu d'attente mais c'est normal car la qualité et le prix le valent
L'accueil n'est pas pas très sympathique et chaleureux mais on est pas là pour se faire des amis.

Booked the night before as I was concerned it was going to be a Friday night, it was pretty busy but as we had younger children we were first in at 19:00 when they opened. “Excellent restaurant, the welcome is perfect. we took the 1/2 chicken, perfectly cooked and very tasty. Fondant and fragrant as desired. It doesn't look much from the outside but you can go there with your eyes closed, traditional and authentic cuisine. 4 people, 4 canned drinks+ 2 beers + 1 liter water + 2 chickens+ potatoes+ 1 tomato salad+ 4 desserts was €15/person.
Very long queues, they open from 6:30 pm, I advise you to arrive very early, they do not accept reservations, they have 2 more floors to complete the room, however they manage the entrances depending on the availability of tables - the kitchen's responsiveness.

“A very nice restaurant with a nice authentic ambiance. The wine cork art on the wall was so cute! Very delicious spicy chicken with the right amount of sauce (a lot!) and the crispiest fries. Quick service. The complimentary bread was not the best and the salad was not special but still had a great satisfying meal! ??“

“Had a late lunch here yesterday and loved it! Some of our crew had been there already and it was their go to. The man who took our order (I'm horrible with names) was great. He was funny and fed us very well. Will go back if I'm ever in the area.“
