Friendliness, good Portuguese food... And with the planes as a backdrop (for connoisseurs) makes this restaurant a good experience

I really liked this little snack break in this restaurant: the cheesecake was excellent - one of the best I have ever had. And the attentive and caring service
All for an unbeatable price

At Tires Aerodrome, we had lunch watching the planes going up and down. Wonderful, congratulations.

On Mother's Day, we decided to visit the Maria Azeitona restaurant in Tires, although we are regular customers at the unit in Amadora. We chose this location for the panoramic view of the Tires track, but the experience was a huge disappointment for all of us.
We tried to avoid unnecessary complaints, but there were two situations in which we could not help but complain, even though we had more reasons. Firstly, the sangria was horrible: no fruit, no flavor, it even seemed like it had been diluted with water. We complained and they made a new one, but it came exactly the same, just with a little more wine.
The creme brulee was also a disaster. I believe they added too much sugar and burned it for longer to form the crust, which left the cream liquid and without consistency. When I explained this to the attendant, I was told that the creme brulee was like this, clearly showing a lack of training, as real creme brulee should not be like that.
The risottos were equally disappointing; you couldn't taste the cheese, and it looked more like dry shrimp rice than a real risotto.
In addition to the quality of the food, the service also left something to be desired. The server responsible for our table was unfriendly and seemed unprepared for the job. When we placed an order, she would often turn around and go get things, and when we complained, she would laugh with her colleagues, which seemed disrespectful. We were only served better when another employee, a young man, came to our table and offered to exchange the items that were bad. We appreciate the effort, but the problem was clearly in the kitchen or in the lack of adequate technical sheets for preparing the dishes, or the quality simply is not up to the standards of other restaurants in the chain.
Long story short, I took my mom out to dinner on Mother's Day and, at the end of the dinner, she wanted to put me up for adoption. The experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing.

The restaurant is very pleasant. Located on the Tires airfield, the outside space is very pleasant. Very friendly for children.
The food is delicious. We are a family with 2 children aged 7 and 1 and a half respectively and it was not difficult to choose food for them despite it being a restaurant designed more for snacks and not having a menu specifically for children. We ordered soup of the day which was cauliflower with strips of ham, snacks (fried cuttlefish, sautéed mushrooms, scrambled eggs with farinheira) and fish fillets with clam rice and boneless chicken leg. All the food was absolutely divine. My little girl loved the clam rice ☺️
Unfortunately I wasn't able to take photos of all the food.
We have also ordered food home several times and have never been disappointed ☺️
Kid-friendliness: The outside space is very pleasant for children. Allow them to play freely

Too expensive for the service and food... Despite the effort, they don't even get away with friendliness...

Restaurant located in front of the Tires Aerodrome. The atmosphere is very welcoming, but the employees were not friendly, perhaps because we only went for coffee and juice. They serve a variety of lunches and dinners and snacks.

I expected more from the vegetarian risotto. It looked more like a chicken soup than a risotto. Dish well below expectations. In fact, because of this dish, I gave it two stars because we didn't finish eating it.The kids menu was good, as was the dish with boneless turkey and baked potatoes. The rice and chicken from the kids menu were well done. The turkey was well roasted and moist.
Vegetarian options: Vegetable risotto and fish from the garden
Dietary restrictions: There is a lactose-free vegetarian dish for those who are intolerant
