A Nova Gaivota | Restaurante is a hidden gem in Sao Martinho, offering a delightful dining experience. The seagull flies high with excellent fish of the day, although prices are excluding taxes. The portions are enormous, with dishes like beef starter, tomato salad, monkfish and prawn pasta, and tofu braz receiving high praise. The sea bass is incredibly fresh, while the monk fish and prawns casserole is full of flavor and unique. The owner serves guests personally, adding a special touch to the experience. The dessert of profiteroles with warm chocolate sauce is a must-try. While slightly pricier than typical Portuguese restaurants, the quality and experience make it well worth it.
