The best place in Sao Martinho to have some delicious sweets in an exquisite patio

When I went on holiday with my parents and brothers to São Martinho do Porto over 35 years ago, we would always grab a tasty pastry from Concha after a trip to the beach. Luckily, this bakery still exists, so we enjoyed a lovely cup of coffee with two delicious, flavourful pastries. Finger-lickin’ good. What's really nice is that you can sit in the cosy patio behind the bakery, allowing you to enjoy your coffee and pastries at your leisure even more!

I went to the place yesterday and placed an order for a king cake because I was recommended. Today I went to pick up the order and arrived 1 minute before 10 am as scheduled, where I saw deliveries being made but my cake said it would only be ready at 12.30 pm.That's why I have to give a bad rating for the service and respect for customers. I didn't know if the recommendation was given in terms of quality or not, but out of respect for the zero customer. It was a bad experience I had when visiting and where I asked for a recommendation about the place.

Private bakery, on a private beach, with a private atmosphere, with special service.A gratifying and pleasant difference, in the banality and superficiality of our days.History space, with perennial scents. Flavors that resonate from the past. Communication and service with affection. The sweets, braids, pasteis de nata, balls of berlin, which in their quality and pleasantness, are still a reflection of those who make and maintain the spirit of this healthy reference, which accompanies its regulars over time and surprises the occasional regular.Sweet construction of future memories. Leaving longing to return.

The classic Concha braid!A true delight!! You can eat it in a variety of ways, from stuffed as you can see in the photo, or even with butter, cheese and/or ham, or without anything at all!I always miss it and every time I return to São Martinho it’s already a tradition ?I highly recommend it, a café is very welcoming and the workers are extremely friendly.
Pastries need I say more! The Bolas de Berlim was my favorite but they were all equally delicious.
Pastry with very good preparation, from the braid with egg cream, homemade bread, the cream, the dough itself was fluffy, the napkins or berlin balls.Everything divine. The staff are always friendly and everything is clean.
A great selection of pastries and an atmosphere that invites you to linger. This coffee should definitely be visited.
Best custard tarts four years ago and now back again to remind ourselves if they are still the same. Still devine and the best we’ve had!

Very slow service, I think they should try to improve.Removing that went fine.
Amazing, fresh delicious Portuguese pastries! You can even watch them make them. Highly recommend. Very kind staff. Best to come in the morning when they have everything made. If you come in at around 1 pm they won’t have a lot left.
Super nice little terrace, pleasant welcome and small local pastries. A delight and a pleasure to come back to every time.
Warm place
Very good local cakes at unbeatable prices
Top staff
I highly recommend this place
It's worth having a coffee and tasting one of the delicious sweets. I tried the pie with chocolate filling and the puff pastry with two creams.
