Honestly a great time, the food is top notch, the staff takes great care. And we were lucky enough to have a music group during our visit, guaranteed atmosphere. If you are in the area, it is a must. With a reasonable addition. Thank you for everything.

Restaurante Típico da Serra is a very pleasant restaurant, has great food and an excellent wine list.
When I can, I always stop by there to enjoy that wonderful food...

I really like the place and the service is not bad at all. But it is true that it takes a long time to bring the food and that when it arrives it is sometimes raw...
It is certainly not a place to go in a hurry.
€10 menu in which you can choose dishes for 20 minutes since after this time there is only one dish left from the Daily Menu.
A shame since the place is quite nice, it has a fairly large parking lot.

When you go to a place and are served with tremendous friendliness, then you place your order and enjoy a "homemade" meal and end up with a fair price for the meal. That was the experience we had here.
I highly recommend it, it's been a long time since I've had a pleasant experience like this...

We were quite surprised. We were very well received. Food with a homemade taste and well served portions. Quality/price ratio above standard.

They offer the dish of the day for €10 with 4 dishes to choose from. At 1:38 p.m. and the dining room being almost empty, they say that they no longer have them, that they have a la carte. We say that then we are leaving and they offer us to change for €4 more for another dish and they only give us the choice of choco or pork fillet. The chocos fried in a very dirty oil and the pork very bad. We say yes for not changing locations but without believing at all that they didn't have it. On the plate of the day they put olives, which were included, but on the same plate they put butter, pâtés, and something else. We didn't touch it and we asked him if they were going to charge us separately, he told us yes when there is already a law that does not allow the client to be scammed in that way. The lousy treatment. I've been in Portugal for 15 days and we've had a great meal in all the restaurants except this one, which wanted to throw everything at us. Who would tell us to stay!
After reading the response and seeing how the public continues to lie about photos of the menu falsely offered by you, of what we managed to pay after saying that we did not want starters that they gave us without asking for it and of how the restaurant was almost empty (it was hardly going to be sold out all the dish of the day) By the way, when we left we still saw the blackboard with its false offer of the dish of the day. And yes, I don't like being cheated so blatantly, not even if it had been for just 1 cent and more when the food was terrible.

We found this restaurant during the weekend in São Martinho do Porto and we loved it! We had dinner there twice and had breakfast. The restaurant is clean, spacious, serves traditional Portuguese food and the friendliness of the ladies is indescribable! We were very well received. The warm, soft roll is tempting. The food is very tasty, on the first day we ordered fried cuttlefish and chops, on the second day we ordered Portuguese-style pork. The potatoes are homemade, I just didn't give it 5* because on the second day the meat was a little dry, but no one was upset because the friendliness and peaceful atmosphere make up for it. Thank you very much.
