I found this campsite by accident and what a treat the setting is spectacular. The restaurant is amazing with spectacular views and the food is to die for and reasonably priced for the quality.

It's a beautiful place with a beautiful view of the lake, and they have an extensive wine list. But the orijs quality is very poor, the food was disappointing, the coffee was lukewarm. The waitress is very pushy, we ordered 2 glasses of wine; Initially a small layer of wine under the guise of: we will pour fresh wine when the food arrives.... The bottle was placed at the table and the bottle was forced upon us in an uncomfortable manner. This restaurant is definitely not recommended.

Starting with the physical aspect of the restaurant, which is made up of several environments, all with a very welcoming atmosphere, outside we have a very natural environment with an extraordinary view of the lake where you can spend quality time in nature, inside the first room with a Classic and very welcoming, we can enjoy a very rich wine cellar where we can taste all types of wines, gins and ports, from the best known to the rarest. In the second room, with more light, we have a spectacular view over the lake as if we were outside. The food is very tasty, from the starters, main courses and desserts, you can eat and cry for more. The service, largely provided by the hosts, is excellent, the description, mixed with information about the dishes, the wines, the region, with the taste and enthusiasm of serving and receiving well, lead me to say that without a doubt, this This place is much more than an excellent restaurant, it is a unique experience that everyone should have. Without a doubt, we will return. We can only thank everyone.

After a walk of more than an hour we arrived at an attractive restaurant with a special view. Only that was worth it. Helped by hospitable staff who gave good advice and knows what a chef does. Our choice fell on local food; a cheese board, fish soup ❗️? freshly caught fish from the lake made crispy with corn ? with accompanying vegetables and concluded with pears and ice cream Admittedly it got out of hand but great Special thanks to Ana who told us all about local food use and inspiration Definitely a place to eat or camp
The “O Sabor da Pedra” restaurant is an excellent choice, with a beautiful panoramic view of the Castelo de Bode Dam. The food is delicious, very homemade; the service is also very good, polite and attentive. The atmosphere is equally pleasant. The ideal space for a peaceful meal. I highly recommend it!

Very beautiful place but...be careful with the price of the wine charged at the end!Practically frozen starters, normal main courses. Be careful if you order wine. They come with another bottle saying they don't have the wine ordered and at the end they present a bill with a "reserve" price. It seems like it's a common procedure in this restaurant...
