Amazing!!! We are visiting Madeira from Canada and this is the best place we have eaten! I am vegetarian but the chicken was too delicious to resist. Highly recommend and the service was great too :)
If you like authentic local cuisine from the grill, this is the place for you. Highly recommended by other locals. The woman stands by the fire and prepares everything fresh, everything was stored in the fridge beforehand, we really liked it, the food was really delicious. I recommend the mix platter for 2 people, just the right amount for 2 people! The boss is very friendly and speaks very good English. Definitely a highlight for us! Great place, we're still inside because the portions are so big it's hard to eat. We took a mix of grilled meat and bolo additions to caco, fritas and milho frita. Sangria served in a jug, delicious, although small, it was enough for two full glasses. The meat is baked after ordering and you can watch it sizzle. Juicy, delicious. An inconspicuous place, it reminds me of taverns in Crete. I would highly recommend
