BEST gelato - and friendliest service! - in all of Sintra! Maria handmakes the gelato every day, offering incredible, fresh flavors that are as delightful as her and her team's kindness to their guests. We enjoyed the food (delicious cheese toasties) and coffee (affogato!!), as well. Go here!!
Fantastic surprise just outside the center of Sintra, artisanal ice cream with common flavors almost all completely gluten-free!

Artisanal ice cream parlor with a dozen flavors (beautiful scoops). The interior setting is nice but you have the possibility to taste something else like Portuguese sandwiches (didn't see the menu). Terrace available.
In terms of cleanliness, nothing to complain about.
Only one toilet but very original because never before seen and intelligent (see photo).
