“Japanese haute cuisine, with a Michelin star, and which aims, in some way, to fuse with details of Portuguese cuisine. Excellent quality of the fish, and impeccable presentations. Professional attention. As for negative aspects, I will say that I don't think it's good that, in a tasting menu like this, with a high price, they charge you for a coffee, and also 5 euros.I also don't think it's right that they charge six times the RRP for the wine we drank. And, in Portugal, in this restaurant, inside a five-star hotel, not having a white Port of 20 years or more is not acceptable.”
“We absolutely loved our meal here. The pizza and pasta were absolutely fantastic and I would certainly recommend any one visiting Sintra to give Fatto Da Claudio Coelho a try. We visited after we had been to the Quinta da Regaleira during the day. We had a couple of drinks in the old town square and then came back to Fatto for our evening meal. This really is high quality cuisine and just the whole ambiance of the restaurant was exceptional. Will certainly return on our next trip to Sintra and will be recommending to any one who will listen :-)”

“My partner and I came here on a recommendation from our Host who is a local and he was not wrong. It's a gorgeous place in an incredible location. when the place is filled with locals you know your in for a good night. The staff and owner were incredible and the food is 5/5 stars. It's so good that we had to do takeout of the prawn curry. Order what you want everything is fresh an delicious. For an authentic experience that leaves you coming back for more I cannot say enough great things. We were absolutely spoiled.Wheelchair accessibility: Has doors that lead to the main lobby which we left through, and are large enough for one to enter the dining room. There are stairs from the back and in the dining room but considering the service I would reserve a table on the main floor and you will be fine.”

“The food was nicely done, and the service was very quick and efficient. Had little to no time before our departure to Porto, and we had a risk to starving that evening, but the owner and staff just saved us. Kudos to this place!”
“Honestly, I am speechless. We came here for our anniversary and after we had our first course, we simply refused to go. We ordered more and more (ate three desserts in the process) because we wanted to taste as many different items from the menu as possible. Each and every of them was another surprise of how good food can be.I truly believe the kitchen staff has mastered their skills. But not only the food was first class, the service was very friendly and attentive and did a superb job.It was truly perfect in every meaning of the word.”
“Everything was delicious and well presented, the staff nice and friendly and we didn't have to wait a long time to be served. Overall it made our sunday special, I'm sure we'll be back bringing friends and family. We had the Game Pie, the Pumpkin Soup, the Cod and the Seabass, plus rice pudding and chocolate cake - everything was great.”

“How do you describe food that is superlatively fantastic. We ate here after a tip from our Bolt driver. In a word, great. Naan bread, Tiki Masala, mixed grill and basmati rice with cashew nuts. Everything was delicious. And that for those prices. The people there are super friendly. Really worth eating here. Tip: Lassi Manga. Fresh yoghurt shake with fresh mango ?”
“I ordered daal soup, vegetable soup, palak paneer and garlic naan. It was a cold day so this was a perfect lunch option! I absolutely loved the daal soup, but the vegetable soup was a little too runny for my liking, but just my preference. I loved their palak paneer and the garlic naan which was super fresh! I highly recommend anyone to stop by for a warm meal (I love spicy, so asked for very spicy). I think it's a family business, and everyone working there was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back if I get the chance!”

“Great beer, great cider, good music. You can get a tasting menu with local craft beers for €13. Didn't try the bruschettas but they looked delicious. Also really good pizza and vegan food at the restaurants next door, if you get hungry, or prefer wine. They share tables (but not bills). A bit off the beaten track even if it's just a block away from the big streak, so not quite as crowded with tourists, which is another plus in this tourist's book.”

“Excellent quality restaurant, fresh food, essential in this type of cuisine, fabulous service with emphasis on the attention paid to the customer's opinion.Suggestion, I believe they can promote more on social media as well as in physical space. With so many people passing by, it was important to have an appealing reference to the restaurant.I wish you all the best and much success for the future.”
“A super welcoming place with spectacular service. Good teas, good shisha flavors, good food, good drink, good music. It was an unforgettable experience. I'll be back ”
“For the tourists that want to get away from the crowds, this is a relaxing place to to stop and eat gelado. It is very close to the Sintra train station but just far enough away it is not jammed with people.. FYI, they are closed Tuesday and Wednesday.I moved to Sintra area in 2020 and I often stop here after a hike or when I'm going to watch the sunset in the park across the street. They have a nice patio, the gelado is made right in the store. I typically get Café (Coffee) or framboesa (Raspberry). When blueberries are in season she will make a batch.Recently she made some gelado with fruit that came from tree about 150 meters away, it was delicioso:-)”

“We had trouble finding a place to eat because we had brought our three small dogs (shih tzus). No place would accept us but A Taverna did and it’s situated at a really nice, quiet street!Food was perfect. My family, especially myself, finished our plates. Shame we didn’t have time or room in our stomachs for dessert because of the large portions. But I would definitely have tried them if I could!Server was very friendly. We had a whole conversation about living in Sintra versus Lisbon. He also greeted other patrons as they made their way in & out of the restaurant, thanking them if he knew their language. One thing to note is that they only accept cash. This was fine for us, but definitely a must know before arriving. Our server let everyone who passed by know, which is good!I recommend eating here, especially their bacalao (cod fish) if you’re in the area. :)”
“We enjoyed our lunch here after going to the national Palace of sintra. I am not sure about the other reviews but our experience was perfect. From the sangria and the risotto's and spaghetti bolognese plus Travesseiro dessert and finished with delicious coffee everything was perfect. I know that reviews can be subjective so all I can say was that we had a perfect experience and the food was delicious. All the seasoning was on point and has challenging as risotto can be it was perfect.”
“Every time I go it is, without a doubt, the place where I stop to eat. Good food and service, it is true that there are many people it will take a while to serve but the kitchen is great.”

“Burger, for me, unexpectedly very good. The concept remains faithful to that of a hamburger restaurant, the service is friendly and efficient, the quality of the meat is excellent, 100% beef. The drinks, especially the sparkling wine and red fruit sangria, are great. I advise anyone who has worked in the area to visit this place and enjoy a real Hamburger.”
“I was in Sintra visiting the Pena Palace and the tour guides highly recommended Tulhas, especially if you're looking to try seafood rice and I was! The restaurant is small and tight, decorated with tiles and wood, located between the tourism office and San Martin Church. The seafood rice was good, filling and hearty, though I would recommend this dish only for fans of seafood.”
“Stopped in on a rainy afternoon. The server suggested we sit indoors and gave us a fabulous little table in the window. Each chair came with a blanket and pillow. “The perfect spot to sit out on the patio, listen to chill music and watch the world go by while enjoying sandwiches and drinks. My ham, lettuce and tomato on a baguette was so good even without a spread. The thinly sliced ham was melt in your mouth of this lightly toasted lunch treat. My wife had the green wine and I followed my sandwich with a glass of ginja. Then we grabbed the bus which stopped just below the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Nice chat with the server about the current state of Portugal in general and we related that similar is happening in Canada.”
“Firstly, congratulations on the space and service provided by the participants,Contrary to everything I read, the new management has everything very organized, a quiet space, good presentation of tables, the service for making appointments is very friendly and available, I advise you to make an appointment well in advance, as the place was full, beautiful shrimp risotto, it was great advice from our waiter. There is also music and karaoke for those who enjoy a beautiful end to the night with lots of fun with friends.Congratulations once again.”

“La mejor pizza de Sintra sin duda alguna. La masa es espectacular, un tanto diferente a lo habitual, puesto que la tendencia hoy es ir hacia masas más finas, esta, sin embargo, es una masa gruesa y jugosa. La pizza bien cargada de ingredientes frescos y de calidad. La señora que nos atendió fue amable y muy educada. Repetiremos!”

“Been coming for a few years now and always delicious. Generally pretty decent portion sizes for the price of very authentic home made typical Portuguese dishes.Nothing too special regarding seating and overall setting but it is quite spacious so also good for bigger gatherings. Would definitely recommend.”

“Slighly outside of the touristy areas, but right into the “artsy” district of SP, this is a place where you can eat and drink like a proper Paulista, amongst the locals! The whole restaurants is full of football memorabilia with many scarves from teams from all over the world… I think if your team is not there and you show up with a little banner or something, they will put it on the wall too! Food is amazing, you have to try the steak (advertised in the menu as the typical dish)”

“Great quick lunch in Sintra. The restaurant is in a fairly isolated street, very quiet and pleasant. In addition to the salmon and sheep's cheese sandwiches, we also tried the cod meatballs, all very good. The only flaw on our behalf are the tables positioned outside, very small if there are more than two people and you don't eat quick things like a sandwich.”
