“We found a flyer for this restaurant while strolling the streets of Sintra and decided to give them a try. So glad we did because the food was SO yummy. This was our second Indian restaurant in Portugal and just when we thought it couldn’t get better, it did! The staff was so kind and catered to our needs really well. The food was all very reasonably priced. Definitely give this place a try. They have a cute patio as well though it was chilly on the evening we went so we sat inside.“

“This Indian/Italian restaurant is excellent. Clearly as Italians we opted for the Indian version all the dishes were excellent quality not anti tropic as they had asked and tasty. Truly excellent service, the owner was very kind. The restaurant is very close to a car park which we recommend for traveling to SintraVegetarian options: Wide choice of vegetarian and vegan dishesParking: Large car park excellent for visiting Sintra“

“(Translated by Google) Unique experience of sushi, braised, tempayaki etc. Quality dishes, made at the moment, in a pleasant and refined atmosphere. Even so, even though it is one of the restaurants at the Hotel da Penha, and given the evaluation of the meal, I found the price inappropriate: €68 per person, drinks charged separately. A few years ago I was at Midori, they still served this Asian buffet menu and it was top, far superior to Spices.(Original)Experiência única de sushi, braseados, tempayaki etc. Pratos com qualidade, feitos ao momento, numa atmosfera agradável e requintada. Ainda assim, mesmo tratando-se de um dos restaurantes do hotel da Penha, e atendendo à avaliação da refeição, achei o preço desajustado: 68€ por pessoa, bebidas cobradas à parte. Há uns anos estive no Midori, ainda serviam este menu buffet asiático e foi top, bastante superior ao Spices.“

“The food here is amazing. We had several dishes and were happy with all of them, but I will dream of the butter chicken for the rest of my days. The atmosphere felt hidden away from the tourist crowds and quiet enough for deep conversations. I will definitely come again.“

“I've come here for dinner more than once and I'll be back. I became a fan! The space is pleasant and has a good atmosphere. It has free wi-fi and parking at the door. The menu is varied, the servings are sufficient, the food is delicious. The price is not very cheap (it was around €17.50 per person without dessert and tip included) but it is also not expensive as it corresponds to the good level of service and quality served. The service is attentive and the staff are friendly, helpful and have a good attitude. It seems to me that they are genuine Indians who try to do their best to speak Portuguese with us, which pleases me even more and at the same time makes it more fun. Keep up the good work. A restaurant like this was needed in Carnaxide.“

“I been here several times and the food has consistently been of a very high standard. I can see why trip advisor credits had been previously given … I think it’s time that the cook should enter a few competitions for food …. A good chance they might win some !“

“If you want vegetarian options, traditional Indian food is a good and very pleasant choice. They make a variety of dishes with simple or complex flavors. They have varied options for all tastes. As for the space, I must confess that it is a little uncomfortable and needs to be renovated in order to bring it up to date. The service is friendly and fast. I recommend it for group lunch or quick meals.Vegetarian options: Grain curry, vegetable chamosa, etc...“

“Impeccable, beautiful, clean, welcoming and pleasant space. Friendly and attentive staff. Wonderful food, well prepared, fresh, quality, good presentation… an explosion of flavors that nourishes the soul. Affordable prices and variety of dishes.“
“Only complaint is that I felt I was trying to get my waiter's attention too much and it took 20+ minutes for my food. But it was hot and lovely! I got the madras with chicken and jeera rice and cheese garlic naan. The chicken was so finely cooked. Cutting into perfectly white chicken was a good feeling. Plenty of sauce too. Came on a candle and it was hot the whole time. The cheese garlic naan was a new experience. It's a starter, so that came out before anything else. It was hot and I wish I had it come out with the rest of my meal. I loved the black and white dipping sauces. Very new to me. The naan was slightly wet but that's because the cheese is more like a sauce on the inside. Really good flavors. The rice was great. Got a little cold after a bit. Plenty for one person. All this and I was stuffed. Came out to about €17. They had English CNN playing on the tv on mute which was nice to watch and wait.“

“We’re from the US and we love our local Indian spots. We have a James beard award winning Indian restaurant and this restaurant parallels the restaurant at home. The food is deliciously authentic. The atmosphere is casual yet upscale. Cheesy Naan is a delicious cheat code. We were impressed by every dish including the paneer. We recommend this place to all!!“
