It is odd to review a small restaurant off the beaten track in a tourist location, but our experience following an exhausting hike in Sintra was so good I wanted to comment. This was the closest restaurant to our hotel and one of the few open in the late afternoon when we decided to eat. It's right on the edge of the core tourist area and Red Hot Chili Peppers was on the sound system when we arrived so expectations were rather low, but the food was actually very good. The pulvo (octopus) salad had some baby potatoes, charred garlic and sautéed onions along with tender and well cooked octopus. Balsamic vinegar dressing. This place is the best! Steak sandwich to die for Great fish/seafood selection Yummy Tapas Service was amazing as well, they make you feel at home and do a great job of explaining Portuguese culture and cuisine. Would recommend for anyone stopping in Sintra :)
