“Sintra is rammed with tourists - even in October when we visited. Villa Craft Beer and Bread was like a sea of calm amidst the chaos. Just off the main street, we had a relaxed beer (my wife had Jasmin, I had Ginger) and delicious mini pizzas. Would definitely recommend. Updated from previous review on 2024-10-28“
“We wanted a hookah lounge and are staying in Ericeira, so the closest was this lounge. Literally the highlight of our trip. We wish we came here every night of our trip. The hookah is the best we have had and we make them at home so are well versed! The aesthetic is beautiful and well thought out. The vibes, food, atmosphere, service, drinks—everything was excellent. Worth the trip and an amazing addition to our vacation.“
“A jewel near Sintra, essential if you are going to be here for a few days. The place, well decorated with an eighties theme, the food, delicious. First class ingredients and variety. We recommend the club sandwich. The service, of those that tip the balance for being pleasant, friendly, and close. Congratulations.!“

“A space located in the Sintra mountain natural park area with a privileged view of the Pena Palace and Castelo dos Mouros, with an outdoor area with plenty of space and an area for picnics. Establishment with parking.
Parking: + - 35 spaces in a location specifically for parking vehicles.
Kid-friendliness: Space located in a green area, with plenty of shadows.
Wheelchair accessibility: Access ramps.“
“I loved this place! The atmosphere is great, so many details in the decoration (including useful items like a spot to hang your purse on the side of the table).
There are also plenty of books (in Portuguese, of course)
Staff members are kind, friendly and accomodating, helpful at all times without being pushy.
Plenty of vegetarian options, and although they didn’t have vegan cheese, they did their best to accommodate my request and offered extra toppings to compensate for that!
Pizza was delicious, tomato sauce was very tasty and the portion was huge! Really good value for money.
Maracuja margaritas were tasty as well?
Definitely a highlight in my trip to Sintra! Thank you guys ?
Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza“
“We came here because I needed a break from walking and I'm so glad we did! We had a chocolate crepe and 2 cups of beer sangria - one red and one white. I was skeptical about how beer would blend in a sangria but I absolutely loved it - it's one of the highlights of Sintra for me! I preferred it with the white wine, but both were great!“

“Revelation.
Very nice, professional and helpful service. Nice welcome, excellent proactive contact with guests.
You can feel that the approach to food is very good. The menu is not overloaded, the dishes are partly made from home-made products.
We can definitely recommend what we ate: Camaro a Tasco, Choco Frito, Cacholeira. And delicious ice cream.
The background music is also spot on, and there's a local atmosphere so you don't feel like you're a tourist.
Thank you. We will try to come back someday.“

“The food was very tasty and we were full. But it would be cool if there was cheese on the vegetarian burger too. Otherwise the waitress (young lady with brown hair) was really nice and the food was brought quickly. If you're waiting for the train, I can recommend stopping by there :) Price-performance ratio is great.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian burger. Unfortunately it doesn't have cheese.“

“The gentleman that served us today was amazing. We only speak English but he was very fluent and we had a lovely time there. We went for a late lunch, I had mushroom risotto and my friends had the veggie pasta and the octopus with potatoes. We were all blown away by the tase and quality of the food. The prices are very reasonable and the terrace has a gorgeous view too. Couldn't fault this restaurant and would definitely go again if we're in the area.
Dietary restrictions: Dairy allergy was easily catered for and not an inconvenience“

“Homemade food. Very affordable daily dishes. Soup of the day, dish, dessert and drink approximately 12 euros per person. Restaurant with different decor with antique crockery.
We ordered some broken eggs as a starter.
The dish of the day, soup and cod with cornbread.
For dessert, a salted caramel mousse (you can share it, because it's quite sweet, but super greedy)
Parking: Private parking on site, free of charge.“

“Visiting the Mercado Saloio Restaurant was a fantastic experience! The atmosphere is welcoming and the decor is very interesting. The food is delicious, with well prepared and tasty dishes. The highlight of the night was live Brazilian popular music, which created a happy and engaging atmosphere. I highly recommend it for a fun and well-spent night!
Vegetarian options: It is possible to order vegetarian dishes
Dietary restrictions: It is possible to order special dishes, for example, meat without garlic or onion“

“The owner was really friendly and spoke great english. Great variety of tea and toasts. Amazing music choice at a reasonable volume. I would reccomend the toast with goat cheese and pinneaple, amazing!
Highly reccomend this place, its perfect!“
“Slighly outside of the touristy areas, but right into the “artsy” district of SP, this is a place where you can eat and drink like a proper Paulista, amongst the locals! The whole restaurants is full of football memorabilia with many scarves from teams from all over the world… I think if your team is not there and you show up with a little banner or something, they will put it on the wall too! Food is amazing, you have to try the steak (advertised in the menu as the typical dish)“

“Charming place, typically Portuguese. The house is run by Mr Joaquim and his family. The sons João and Telmo who serve us are very kind and polite. I ate the octopus in a lagareiro. Most delicious thing in life!
I highly recommend it!!!
Parking: Street parking
Wheelchair accessibility: It does not have.“

“Excellent place. Very friendly, welcoming host. As for portions - it's a tapas restaurant (its right there in the name, folks!). We've had sandwiches, charcuterire board, good wine recommendations. And it's an excellent place to sit and watch people.“

“Less crowded than the other restaurants near the town square, lovely lunch, delicious and good portion sizes. Food came quickly so great for in between tours.
Service was good and waiters polite, happy to converse in both English and Portuguese, not sure why other reviews were so bad.“

“I have been here for some time, before coming to give my feedback about the restaurant I read some comments, I found some unnecessary since the restaurant is called solar do bitoque, the menu is pregos na bread and bitoques and you can also call it prego na dish, as they are the same thing. The nails on bread are tasty and there is plenty of parking.“

“Good place to eat, the toasts are really sandwiches that were delicious and the vegetable soup was also very delicious. Everything was very delicious, the only thing was that we were a group of 9 and with the time they gave us to eat on the tour we barely arrived, but I would repeat. I recommend “

“The food was good, the plates were quite filling, the prices were consistent with what was served and the location and the attentive and friendly staff but I want to make special mention that a client came with his dog and as soon as he sat down they immediately gave him water and even gave him water. They gave a prize. They were attentive and loving even with the dog and for me it is something super important. The place is spacious and has a terrace but it fills up quickly.
Parking: It's crazy to take the car to Sintra
Wheelchair accessibility: Sintra itself is a place that is not very accessible due to the number of slopes you encounter along the way.“
