Very glad to find vegan option in Sintra as they were scarce. Staff knew their dishes and chatted us through the options. Linguine was expensive (19euro) but tasty enough with lots of tofu. Felt clinical and didn't enjoy the atmosphere.

Can’t beat the location but limited vegan options. Still very worth a visit for the linguini and also the cauliflower salad. Helpful staff.

Last year (like seen on the pictures here in the app) they had more vegan choices than now. Now they only have one clearly labeled dish (vegan linguine, 19€) and how i think some little side dishes which should be vegan but we didnt ask. It tasted quite good but i am disappointed they have scaled-down their vegan choices so i would not come back also because it was quite expensive for some noodles with tofu and veggies..

We came here for our last dinner of our honeymoon. One lady who was extra helpful and even helped walked us up to the rooftop terrace to watch sunset after our amazing meal. We shared ginja, sangria, a side of delicious mushrooms and a rack of lamb. The lamb was exceptional and we thoroughly enjoyed the overall experience. We look forward to visiting again!!

After buying a few traditional pastries, we stopped there for a drink. It was Happy Hour, we ordered 3 mojitos. The fact that we ate our cakes there must not have pleased us. The waiter came back 5 minutes later to tell us, no more mojitos!!! 1 hour since Happy hour had started. We fall back on port and tonic and 1 white sangria. Infamous, port and tonic and the worst sangria I've ever had. When it was time to pay the bill, I checked, fortunately, the 3 canceled mojitos had been counted. My advice is to continue on your way.

Fantastic seafood stew.The waiter, Ricardo, made my partners birthday very special and I can't recommend this place enough.The pork belly and steak looked fantastic but the seafood stew with rice was truly delicious.

we just stopped by, by this beautiful restaurant. We took the big fish and it was done perfectly from tough house excellently cooked and with some side dish. We loved it. Ricardo Rodriguez cut the fish, he told us the first time and it was done like he did it for many years. we are very happy and recommend this place

No one should have to pay €24 for fried cod . And it wasn't even the right order . We ordered the cod balls from the starter menu.I also ordered the fried octopus. It was okay. Mussels were okay. Tourist trap for sure. No wonder it was pretty empty while the test of the surrounding restaurants were packed . I don't recommend it for food. Sitting and people watching and having drinks. Okay.

Good location and comfortable outside seating but the food was disappointing and the service poor. We ordered mussels & frites but they came back to say the mussels had run out. We agreed to substitute clams. They came in a thin sauce that tasted of little but salt. The frites didn't arrive until the dish was half finished. We ordered desserts but one was incorrect. When it was replaced it was stale. Overall a very poor experience.

Exquisite food with impeccable service and we went without a reservation in the middle of August. It is an expensive restaurant, but wow, they have the prices on the outside, they don't fool anyone.

The summary is that it is not worth what it costs. The location is not enough, neither the food nor the prices match. Salty rice, linguini with clams with hardly any flavor were clear examples of what should not be served in a good restaurant. The shank, which was very tasty, was saved. The attention is good.

This restaurant was recommended by our local driver. Looked at the menu & decided it had plenty of variety & prices looked ok. I looked at the rating after we had got our food & was very surprised it was 3.2.We had excellent service, very friendly & helpful. The food & coffee was really good so not sure why the low rating!

The restaurant is very ageist. My friend and I are in our twenties and our waitress made it very clear that she wants to help retired people before us. She was very welcoming and helpful to them. However to us she was very rude and inattentive. As soon as we asked her to order she told us to wait and didn’t show up till 15 minutes later because she was taking orders from other elderly customers that took a seat later than us. The other staff ignored our requests the entire time while it was not even busy. Eventually our food and drinks arrived but a part was missing. Even when we asked for the bill, retired elders that asked for their bill later than us, got it earlier and were able to leave sooner. We had tickets booked to see the Quinta da Regaleira, and were 1 hour later because of this experience. Would not recommend unless you want a fake or rude experience.
