Very expensive, the bottom of a glass of wine for 10 euros, hot water in a carafe (warmer than the outside temperature in August!). I've traveled a lot but this is definitely a tourist trap.

Disappointment, not due to product but due to quantity. I think it will be the first time I pay €35 for a portion of ham and it is not even half a portion. It's a shame that a good Breher is mistreated like this.
I will pay very reluctantly.
Spectacular wine.

Briliant! As owner says 'Everything we serve we would serve to our family.' Salada de Anchovas was brilliant. Bravo potatoes out of this world. A hidden gem. I feel sad watching the people pass by,this place is so good. Thank you Casa Merocos. Perfect last night in Portugal.

Apart from the attitude of the owner who was extremely disdainful, the flavorless dishes served at 14th for a tuna carpacio cut so finely that you could only taste the wind. Move on, tourist trap. Shameful, we all work to eat. Shame this kind of scam.

This is the only place in the center of Cascais where you can taste truly traditional snacks, excellent wines, craft beers, cheeses, pata negra hams and a huge variety of snacks. Family atmosphere, very warm and friendly. A must-visit for anyone going to the center of Cascais. About 50 meters from the Baía hotel.

Nice food, but quite pricy. Plenty of wine to choose from.

Great service, a relaxing time and amazingly fresh food. Passionate about the food they serve and a nice selection of wines, in particular the clay aged wine.

I didn't notice the experience, very poor tapas, under-baked chorizo, cheese that looked like rubber,
My partner and I loved it so much we returned a second night during our weekend stay in Cascais. You can tell the couple really love to share their love and knowledge of food and wine with anyone who walks in the door. Really feels like you have been invited to a family dinner. Highly recommend.
I have visited many times…the quality of the produce is exceptional- love the black pork and cheese platters. I learn a little more about Portugues wines every time. Great place to relax and enjoy a slower pace.
Not great
We had a delightful time enjoying a glass of Atlantic “salt” wine the owner introduced us to. The shop is owned by a very nice couple and we enjoyed talking to them. The wife helped us in making a cheese selection which we are eating right now—delicious! Really a nice place and we would go back if we weren’t leaving for home tomorrow
