A must-visit restaurant if you are in Sintra.
Traditional cuisine, tasty and good quantity, all with its accompaniments.
We ordered baked sea bass, roast duck and octopus, all great.
To finish, mix of desserts, delicious.
Thank you for the wine recommendation and above all for the good treatment.

Excellent experience in a typical family restaurant!
Everything was good, from the olives, to the bread, to the delicious seafood rice fish soup that was extremely filling and tasty.
The service was extremely friendly and fast, thank you!

It was full even though it was already very late. The food is good although the kitchen is slow. Generous dishes with rice, vegetables and potatoes on the side. Good service.

Really cozy atmosphere in beautiful premises. We ordered a starter and a main course for lunch. There weren't very many guests. Still, it took a very long time before we got the food. And then we had the main course. When we said we had also ordered a starter, the waiter just said 'yes yes' and then he brought it 2 minutes later?!
All in all, the food tasted fine, but was a bit boring. Very basic.

It is very cozy and the atmosphere is great. But the food is pretty average - not great but not bad. Service was disappointing. Servers didn’t come to check up on you and you have to wait a fair bit of time to get your food. We also ordered starters, but I guess they forgot or something. When we got our main dish, we reminded them of the starters. They didn’t apologize or anything. We did however finally get our starters.

Sintra's D. Pipas is a must-visit. Excellent decoration, which combines modern and traditional elements to highlight Sintra's rich culture, adds to the cozy ambiance. The very kind owner and fantastic employees provided exceptional service, adding a personal touch to our experience. The seafood is the best we've ever had—fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared. Highly recommended for an unforgettable dining experience!

Parking: Can park on the street or in a small alley right beside the restaurant.

Small, inconspicuous location with excellent service.

The waiter was extremely friendly and often made little jokes.

The food was very tasty - would eat here again at any time.
