We found Dona Maria on the walk to the hiking trail up to Pena Palace. It catches your eye because of the Terrace seating and view of Sinatra. The terrace seating is cozy and they even provided soft blankets for when it got breezy.
The service was excellent and the Sangria even better, but the food didn’t wow me. The highlights were my husband’s risotto and my daughter loved her burger. Beyond that, nothing was bad, just not very memorable.
