The burrata was delicious, but the Ravioli di Gamberi was life changing! The Brazilian exec chef is from Brazil and dang does this dish do fusion so amazing. The service was top notch and pizza, very good.

This is a fantastic restaurant and a must-go especially for dinner if you are staying at the resort. The ambience, environment and pacing is perfect before winding down to a good night's sleep. I highly recommend the Truffle and Mushroom risotto as it is the best I have ever tasted, along with the apple dessert that came with a lovely theatrical surprise for the customer.
I would like to bring recognition to Kkchitij's amazing service, he showed deep detailed food and product knowledge and provided a world class presentation . It is evident that he and along with the rest of the team are Michelin level staffs, and it made the dinner feel like a story telling journey. Thank you Thiago and team for the lovely and memorable night.
Dietary restrictions: Kkchitij the waiter asked about my dietary restrictions ahead of dinner. and the rest of the evening was worry-free as he kindly advised the best items to order according to my needs.

One of restaurants in Penha Longa Resort. Good foods. Salad is fresh. On that day, we were served by a very very friendly staff who went out of the way to give us written directions to visit nearby Palaces, restaurants in Sintra village. Also gave us a tip to get back to the resort with shorter Uber time, and saving.

Been there for 25/12/2022 Christmas Day and 01/01/2023 new year buffet. So glad that restaurants are opened …We were well served with many staffs there to provide efficient services.Food are very delicious and well cooked! Good varieties of food..

The best evening was the Sunday when you pay a standard price for a buffet evening. Not cheap for Portugal at 54 p.p. but we still felt it was worth it!

It’s a Restaurant with great mood, great decot and a stunning view… Mercatto is a restaurant inside the magnificent Penha longa’s Hotel and provide us a wonderful experience! I Truly recommend.

Amazing food and outstanding service. Other reviews say it’s too expensive for Portugal, but understand it’s inside a Ritz Carlton hotel on top of a mountain in a National park - they have great bottles of wine for $30 or less and it’s a fantastic environment with fresh food. I even read some reviews where people were complaining that there weren’t enough people dining in the restaurant, huh? Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!
