Pretty much just the vegan sausage as the vegan option but it was great. A breaded seitan potato type thing with some veggies. Good option in a small town with limited choices. Excellent service and solid wine list.

They had a really nice vegan burger and chips on the special when I was there. It was in flat bread. Staff were also super nice. No lasagna as every review says lol!

I recently dined at Metamorphosis and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The food fell short of expectations, particularly the Carne de Porco à Alentejana, which was marred by tough, chewy meat and stale potatoes, while the olives and pickles lacked any discernible flavor. Additionally the pepper steak came with a measly portion of three tiny potatoes. The Croquetes de Alheira lacked the promised alheira filling, further adding to the disappointment.Despite the culinary letdown, I must commend the staff for their warmth and friendliness. However, the awkward setup of the restaurant, with staff idly standing in line, observing diners, detracted from the overall ambiance.

Very good restaurant, if you pass through Sintra and want to eat there, it is one of the best options.The food is delicious, we have not been disappointed by any dish.Abundant quantities in the main dishes, with a very well achieved flavor, impeccable service and a clean and cozy place.Highly recommended, if one day we return, we will definitely come.
