Professional attention.As for negative aspects, I will say that I don't think it's good that, in a tasting menu like this, with a high price, they charge you for a coffee, and also 5 euros.I also don't think it's right that they charge six times the RRP for the wine we drank.And, in Portugal, in this restaurant, inside a five-star hotel, not having a white Port of 20 years or more is not acceptable.

Just experienced one of my favorite meals here at Midori!While the prices are quite steep and warrants a visit as a special occasion, I found the value to experience well worth the cost. We opted for the 9 course experience which consisted plates from appetizers, sashimi, sushi, cooked dishes to dessert. The portions were a bit small and reality was a good thing as there are so many dishes part of the experience that you should be beyond satisfied with the overall portion amount.Every dish we experienced was so beautifully prepared that it was almost a shame to eat instead of just view.Service was too notch as to be expected in a Michelin starred restaurant, but also to a bit to break the ice with our server to get a more relaxed experience. I’m not one for a stuffy environment.The restaurant is quite small, but perfectly set up in a very spacious way and for a good part of the meal, we had the place to our own.You will be seated overlooking the magical Sintra mountains and the well manicured grounds of the hotel.Every part of our experience was just great and highly suggest a visit for your next special occasion.

Was definitely worth the 1 star it received, but I can tell why it didn't receive 2. The service was excellent, and the food was very good, especially the tuna dishes. However, the atmosphere, though nice, doesn't wow. And nothing was groundbreaking or that memorable in the food.

Exceptional, amazing, wonderful, lovely! I can only rave about this unique and tasty dining experience. The staff was so kind and attentive, the view of the mountains was lovely, the ambiance was very relaxing, and some of the dishes had delicious combinations of flavors I had never experienced that were truly challenging my brain (in the best most delightful way). I also came for my birthday, and they really made it feel very personal and special. The whole experience lasted about 3 hours, but for us it was definitely necessary in order to make space for all the food (9 "moments" aka 11 small courses). I would highly recommend it as they are doing an outstanding job. Thank you so much for the pleasure ????

There was no variation in using producrs . Most dishes were created by using Tuna . We would have liked a variation & perhaps some meat . Desert was not impressive to a poit of a Micheline rating . However , service was impacable & very professional .

Wow!! I am regularly visiting Michelin-star restaurants as a true foodie. Midori is a true highlight of my recent experiences. The Katsusando as amuse bouche - a true delight. The snowcrab desert - a real surprise, how a fish dish can become an amazing dessert. We really enjoyed the dinner from start to end. If you are staying at Penha Longa, definitely go here rather than ‘LAB’ if you want to choose one of the two. Only caveat: the wine list is very expensive, which is a pity.
