Our waiter Carlos gave us very good service. He was very patient in his explanations and generously topped up out potato chips. The grilled chicken with pineapple and bacon was very nice and so was the cod with cream.

They tried to take more money from us. They prepared many food that we didn’t ordered and we should pay a lot at the end.The food was nice, delicious. But each bowl of rice or potatoes costs much, be careful.The fresh pressed orange juice was like half water half juice. But it costed 24 euro at the first on the bill. We paid at last more then usual.

Absolutely delicious! One of the best typical Portuguese meals we have had after four months here. The owner is delightful and the food is fantastic. We had the shrimp rice and the pork with mushrooms and would order it all over again every day. Highly recommend!

Last night I went to the restaurant O Túnel at Sintra which recommended by the airbnb host. The restaurant is hidden next to the train station, i ordered a red fish n seafood pot which cost 14euro for 1 pax, which is good n big portion. And I saw some locals eat there too. You can try. ?

Very traditional and very good. Try cebolada de atum. Carlos is the best.
Excellence place to eat. Traditional Portuguese food of high quality. We ate the Casserole and it was fantastic. Very recommended!!

We had a great and warm experience at this restaurant which was recommended to us. The food is tasty and you get a lot. Great value to expense ratio and very good and friendly service. There is also a lot of flexibility in what is served. Ask and they will do their best to accommodate.... We visited Portugal (Lisbon and Sintra) for 5 day and resided in Lisbon for those 5 days. However we dined twice at this restaurant in Sintra and also had a lunch there. That is how satisfied we were. And we recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly to you. One of the best restaurants in Sintra it seems. They serve real and traditional food that is very well prepared. I recommend “Caçarola de Cherne e Marisco”, it’s one of their specialists and it’s the best caçarola I’ve had. If you’re looking for true Portuguese cuisine this is the place. The waiter was extremely kind and he’s looks and sounds super similar to José Cid, a Portuguese musician from the 80s that made an album called “10,000 years after between Venus and Mars, according to Sputnik Music it’s one of the best 100 albums of progressive rock in the world.

Great authentic Portuguese food. I can't faul it. The flavour was delicious, and the portion size was generous. The house red wine was delicious, smooth, and fruity.Our waiter was also delightful and friendly. Such a wholesome and lovely restaurant to top of a great day exploring sintra.
