Normal food and a lot of pre-frozen. Tourist prices. That is, expensive. It doesn't pay off unless you have an emergency.

Although the restaurant is centrally located, it has few tourists because it’s on the back side of the square. Tour guides often come here for their breaks. The food is good; we had various tapas. It's important to note that you can only pay in cash here, as no cards are accepted. Naturally, I didn't have cash on me and had to find an ATM first. Despite this inconvenience, it’s a great spot for a break, away from the mass tourism. The ambiance is relaxed and it’s highly recommended for a quiet, enjoyable meal.

Fine, average, nothing particularly fabulous but nothing wrong either except we are not sure exactly about the bill as they only take cash (seem to have an ATM machine) and didn't get a receipt. It just seemed a bit higher than expected for a salad, roast chicken and 2 small waters.

The fish soup was terrible in taste and size. It was probably a children's portion. The black pig ribs taste very good, but what good is it if there was so little meat on them that I had to gnaw them off. The staff was very friendly: he called after me because I forgot to take my hat.

Went there in the afternoon to have some late lunch. The ambience was very tranquil. I had some wine which felt refreshing after the long walking in Sintra. The food, especially the steak, was very tasty and I’ve never tasted sweet potatoes this way. We didn’t have to wait too much for the lunch and our host was very amicable - he told us to take our time and relax a bit after finishing our food. Card also accepted for payment.

Decent meal but cold, a lot of waiting, no rice even though it was on the defrosted bread menu. The shopping arrived to finish our dish.

This was a recommendation by our tour guide in Sintra.
Since we came in a group they looked quite overwhelmed.
With a glass of white wine and Nestea, we had a bifana sandwich that came with limp fries, and bitoque.

Overall, it was average considering it was supposed to be a typical Portuguese lunch spot.

Note they only accepted cash even when they had a card machine on the counter, this frustrated some of the group members.

We had a great experience. Not crowded. Best risotto we’ve had in a long time. The octopus very good as well.

I hate giving negative reviews. But this has been a joke.
Short version, I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy.
Longer version, they laugh at you and you find out at the end, because no one informs you about anything. My partner and I sat down to have a beer at a supposed happy hour, because it turns out that the only draft beer they had didn't fit (everything, we found out when we were going to pay, they don't tell you anything)
We paid for 11 olives and two draft beers 13.50

The surprise comes when we go to pay and it turns out that you cannot pay with a card (we did not have cash) we asked him for options and neither bizum, nor transfer, nor of course, a claim form) At this moment the man begins to get uncomfortable, because We explain to him that we know he is kidding us (I have worked in hospitality) and there he tells us that he does not work there and that he is doing a favor. Anyway, everything was irregular and we were reluctant to call the police, but now that we think about it, we were idiots not to go. I think there are many more places in Sintra and certainly more honest.

Terrible staff attitude. Long wait. They brought an undercooked burger. When they were told about this, they finished cooking the piece. They didn't apologize. The food is not tasty, terrible. We do not recommend this establishment to anyone!
