Homemade food. Very affordable daily dishes. Soup of the day, dish, dessert and drink approximately 12 euros per person. Restaurant with different decor with antique crockery.
We ordered some broken eggs as a starter.
The dish of the day, soup and cod with cornbread.
For dessert, a salted caramel mousse (you can share it, because it's quite sweet, but super greedy)
Parking: Private parking on site, free of charge.

Atmosphere is good. Large parking space. Food was okay. When arriving they dine your table with appetisers. For tourists they try to bill you at the end for all appetisers! Very disappointing.

Welcoming, good service and quality food. I recommend the cockle patties for starters, the main course for octopus rice with shrimp and for dessert a salted caramel mousse. Very good, I recommend it. I'll go back.

I think it is one of the best places I have eaten in Portugal, if not the best. Without a doubt a 10/10. Set in a space full of history and with a homely atmosphere, this culinary space makes you travel between the history of Sintra and the wonderful flavors of its preparations.
I was also very happy with the beautiful treatment of its owners, who run this place that deserves to be known.

Very friendly servers and nice atmosphere. There were some appetizers on the table when we arrived. They were nice but you’re billed for them even though you didn’t order them. I can’t recommend the cod but the rest of the food was good.

Everything perfect! Service was exceptional. Antonio and Nuno were stand-out. Delicious freshly cooked food. The black pork lombo was unbelievably tender and tasty. The children enjoyed their meal too with the tomato rice dish. We will be back! Possibly every weekend!
Kid-friendliness: Very attentive waiting staff, friendly towards the kids.
