Good sweets that surprised us. They are based on cinnamon and cheese, very rich and different. They go perfectly with the coffee they offer. Mythical site that has survived for many years and hopefully will continue for many more.
We stopped to try Sintra's specialty: Queijadas, with a coffee. Really cheap, less than €4 for 2 Queijadas and two espressos. Fast service and a really cute little room to sit in.
We stoped here on our way out of Sintra. We had the best toast here. We ordered it to go but we had to eat 1/3 right away. When you order it to go open the lid or it will go wet from steam. It is made with lots of butter ham and cheese plus oregano on top is great. Don't hesitate and get some.
